Characteristics Of The American Constitution

In most cultures, everyone has their own way of living. In American culture, people have their own traits that defines them what they are; they have unique personalities. American people have some extraordinary traits that make them different from people of other cultures. Although it is difficult to give one specific trait to Americans, Americans tend to share certain traits such as responsibility. Moreover, the American spirit has included this trait for hundreds of years. One source of this trait is the Constitution. The Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution in 1787 to serve the people. In addition, the Constitution is a plan of government that describes the structures and power of government; it is called a higher law because it serves as a fundamental law that everyone, including those in power, must obey, and its ideas cannot be destroyed. The Constitution has twenty-seven amendments, and the first ten amendments are called Bill of Rights.

For example, if married couples are happy with their children, then there are fewer chances for divorce. On the other hand, if there are fewer divorces, then families are having positive effects to society. In the book American Values Opposing Viewpoints, the author Mary E.
