STEVE JOBS’ QUALITIES OF LEADERSHIP

Steve Jobs’ key qualities of leadership would have been his drive to achieve high quality. Steve Jobs’ energy was extremely high which gave him the ability to be persistent. Steve Jobs’ was not the typical born leader type. This is something that he developed along the way. By having the drive Steve Jobs’ encourage others to have the same drive.
Desire to lead.
Although, Steve Jobs’ did not had a strong desire to lead others. Steve Jobs’ did have a strong desire to change the world. Steve Jobs’ was the first in line to take on the responsibility of a project or new development. Steve Jobs’ was the one that wanted and needed to be in control of everything in his life.

Steve Jobs’ understanding also gave him the insight of the implications of these decisions. Not only did Steve Jobs’ have the knowledge of the industry. He also had knowledge according to Rick Tetzeli to understand that the customer did not want the technology of a product. The customer wanted what they got out of the product.
Extraversion
Steve Jobs’ was known for his energetic personality. However, Steve Jobs’ was not known for his sociable side, in fact, some would say that Steve Jobs’ was rude at times. According to McInerney, S. (2011) “Steve Jobs was an unconventional leader. His management style wasn 't the stuff of university textbooks - he wasn 't known for his consultative or consensus building approach.” Steve Jobs’ was an effective leader by being truthful and letting his team know exactly what he wanted. Steve Jobs’ push others to do things they thought they could not do. Steve Jobs’ was a leader that would get in there and do the job himself if need be and others know they could count on him.

Steve Jobs’ was one to let you know when the project was in need of revisions. Steve Jobs’ would guide team members to how he wanted the project accomplished.
Supportive leader Steve Jobs’ was not one to care if you did not like him. However, his team members would say they loved working with him. And gained a great deal by the way you treated each and everyone in the same manner. Team members would have to say that he was someone that took same getting used to. Although, some would say he was rude at times, he was not rude would you got to know him. Steve Jobs’ was just one that did not beat around the bush.
Participative leader Steve Jobs’ was one to brainstorm with the group on the project at hand. Steve Jobs’ would use the suggestions of other team members before making a decision. However, if Steve Jobs’ though the suggestion was not relevant he would let them know right away.
Achievement-oriented leader Steve Jobs’ set challenges and goals and expected this team to perform above their ability. Steve Jobs’ pushed his team members to achieve task they never dreamed of performing. Steve Jobs’ would work on a project day in and day out until the project was finished and prefect.
