t is important to know that bullying is an aggressive behavior that is initiated by someone who believes he or she can overpower the other individual (“Prevention of bullying: Research report and recommendations”, 2013). It is also important to know that these unwanted and aggressive behaviors which can get ugly really quickly. Bullying has become a wide epidemic that is affecting many people around the world. It is important to know that bullying has been going on for a very long time. It is a major problem among elementary school children, middle school children, high school children and sad to say that it is now a major problem in the workplace. This paper will discuss a plan for the local school district in the primary prevention of bullying among youth, as well chapter 15 case study will be discussed. The principles of effective discipline that are listed in the text are the following: importance, consistency, calm, time, limits, understanding, prevention, investigation, and meaningfulness (Clark, 2015). The psychological factor is the average education level for the community is the only tenth grade, which is equivalent to a sophomore in high school. The environmental factors are that the weather is hot and arid, there are only one general practice physician and dentist in town, only ten percent of female residents receive prenatal care during their pregnancies, and the only transportation to Tucumcari is by train or car that only comes through town once in the morning and once at night.
