Speaking of Mama’s Hollywood beauty, I read that in 1927, after White Thomas Alva Edison invented the first talkie movie machine, the Jews united together and ganged up on him, and stole his invention. They used it for Jew propaganda films (called entertainment) to manipulate Whites against our own interests, instead of the entertainment and education Edison thought it should be used for. After all it was his invention, not theirs. His invention was the result of 10,000+ inventions and research. White Edison fought the Jews with police, lawyers, and courts but little did he know Jew$ had these White men and fellow Jews in their pocket$. White Edison took matters into his own hands since he couldn’t get justice in USA and hired thugs to smash the movie sets for revenge on the Jew thieves who fled to Hollywood. Edison, and his wife, after his death, spent their entire money supply and rest of their lives tied up in knots trying to get justice in the court systems. Jews produced movies freely which specialized in sub-conscious race-breaking the White people, degenerating us, and leaving Jews as pure-blooded or highest bred - same for Yellows, Browns, Reds, Muslims, Hindus and Blacks. It’s called takeover of the White's home, USA; takeover of the world. Even recently, David Brooks of the New York Times admitted Jews have taken over the USA. All of this kind of talk was taboo when I first started journal writing 2002. Jew$ were about to take over the wealth of the greatest nation on earth and turn Whites into their slaves, as they did to my people in Poland and Europe for 900 years. The first-ever (talkie) movie, “The Jazz Singer,” was made to get to the “feelings” of Whites, for Jews banked on that to manipulate us and to get... ... middle of paper ... ...bi in the USA, Capers Funnye . Is this takeover a Jew and Black comedy joke on their joint effort to rob, genocide and terrorize the White Race? While I'm so thankful for my humble White roots and life, why does Black Michelle Obama comment she had nothing to be grateful for until her husband became President. She never knew the meaning of slavery as me and my folks did. Blacks worked two months of the year in the South, and given free homemade clothing, best of food, priority over White slaves who Blacks nick-named "White Trash." The term, "shuffling" was given to represent the fact that Blacks pretended to work, to bring more Black workers to America from Africa for Jew$' profits! It cost Jew$ $20 to pay off African Kings in rum and beads, and then bring to USA where Jew$ gouged White Southern plantation owners at a price of $2,000 each by today's money value!
Portrayal of African Americans on television is frequently a controversial topic. Throughout its rather brief history, television, in its programming, has skewed predominantly white, (Pringozy, 2007). This was clearer in the 1950s and early 1960s, and it even remained true throughout the 1970s, when television shows with mainly all African American casts became hits, (Strausbaugh, 2006). The success of The Cosby Show in the 1980s helped to improve race relations somewhat, or at least on television, (McNeil, 1996). Still, controversy continued, and still does to this day, as to which shows present negative stereotypes of African Americans and which ones do not, (Strausbaugh, 2006). Therefore, when talking about the history of African Americans on television, it is best to begin with the show that is widely considered to be the epitome of negative stereotypes of African Americans on television: The Amos and Andy Show, (McNeil, 1996). This paper will examine the portrayal of African Americans through two shows from two generations and the impacts both shows had on Black America; The Amos and Andy Show (1928) and The Cosby Show (1984).
Throughout history Jewish people have been discriminated against relentlessly and while one may think that the world has finally become an accepting place to live in, unfortunately the battle against discrimination still exists even in countries such as the USA. Different opposing groups such as the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and the Knights Party have not only discriminated against people of non-white races, but they have helped promote anti-Semitism in the United States. Anti-Semitism is the hatred of or discrimination of against Jews, which according to Efron et al. “anti-Semitism was born of modern racial theories and political ideas, or for that matter with Christian anti-Semitism, fueled by distinctive theological ideas unique to Christianity” (Efron et al. Pg. 68).
The Jewish people and culture have always been an integral part of western society. Many of society’s core values and outlooks derive from those of the Jews (Cahill 3). Every economy involved the Jews. Some of their most common professions were bankers and doctors; even when one neglects to consider the necessity of these professions, one must consider that just by existing they boosted the economy through commerce (Taft 1). The New York Times recorded that in London in 1902 it was “surprising how quickly they improve[d] their condition and beg[a]n to save money” and were building up a tailoring business to rival Germany (“Jewish Immigration Into London”). According to then-former President Taft, Jews in 1919 were given legal equality in every country except Romania and Russia, a...

In The Marrow of Tradition, author Charles W. Chesnutt illustrates examples that signify the thoughts that whites had of and used against blacks, which are still very much prevalent in public opinion and contemporary media. Chesnutt writes, “Confine the negro to that inferior condition for which nature had evidently designed for him (Chesnutt, 533).” Although significant strides have been made toward equality, the media, in many instances, continues to project blacks as inferior to whites through examples observed in television shows, music videos, films and newscasts.
In Wilhelm Marr’s “The Victory of Judaism over Germandom”, he calls upon his countrymen to recognize and extinguish the threat of Jewishness in Germany in 1879. He argued Germans had willingly given up control of Germany by allowing the Jewish held daily press and financial industries to build up Germany as “western New Palestine”, or a Germany completely devoid any German identity. (Marr) Although his pamphlet blamed the Germans, his words resonated with them and validated their angry feelings stemming from Revolutions of 1848. Ultimately, Marr’s pamphlet effectively projected his underlying personal issues with the Jews onto Germans who then used it to retaliate against the Jew, thus opening them up to discrimination and scrutiny while living
is a curious tale, as we are able to see how Jews were viewed in the
By the end of World War I, Black Americans were facing their lowest point in history since slavery. Most of the blacks migrated to the northern states such as New York and Chicago. It was in New York where the “Harlem Renaissance” was born. This movement with jazz was used to rid of the restraints held against African Americans. One of the main reasons that jazz was so popular was that it allowed the performer to create the rhythm. With This in Mind performers realized that there could no...
There are many interesting themes in this work of historical fiction. It sheds light upon a foreboding pre-world war II Germany in which Hitler has begun to ratchet up anti-Semitic propaganda and discrimination. The following provides a
In the essay “White on Rice: Yellowface in American Media” the asian-american author asserts that people of Asian, Hispanic, Latino, Indian, and Native American, but particularly Asians, ethnicity are not only underrepresented, but down right ostracized in the realm of film and television here in the United States through a process known as Yellowfacing, or the misrepresentation of the Asian ethnicity by predominantly white actors. The author uses the movie Massacre of the Christians by the Chinese among other examples of television and film that contain yellowfacing to exemplify the media's outwardly biased discrimination towards the Asian ethnicity. The author’s purpose is to shed light upon the mind of the intended audience, by showing them
Through its remarkable breakthroughs in film and what the camera could do, Birth of a Nation can be explored as a film that set the standards for future film development and masterpieces. However, one can never look past the way that African-Americans were horribly represented and depicted on film. This has caused this film to be such a great film to explore when studying film and especial minorities in film. This debate will continue way past my life and beyond. One must hope and believe that the ignorance of the few that still see this as a positive image of reality can be overturned and that this film can only be seen as a studying device for all those that look to explore the art of film and the sad realities that can come from the ideals of those who create film and movies.
How are African American men portrayed in modern movies? How do these depictions influence the structure of our society and culture that we experience on the daily basis? These questions have been the focal point of my research. As I pursue to analyze the arguments of others on this topic, I dig a little deeper into the innerworkings that are effected, and come to realize the serious underling implications resulting from this conundrum. The first piece of literature I vetted was Mass Deception by Max Horkhiemer and Theodore Adorno on page 65 of out textbook Culture and Society by Matt Wrey. This article conveyed the power of media very well; helping to express just how much of a grip the media really has on the life of a citizen, likewise,
We can never become just Netherlanders, or just English , or representatives of any other country for that matter. We will always remain Jews." It shows unfair treatment to the Jewish. There’s black people who are just considered black or at the minimum, African. At least there is a sense of home in that. Judaism is a religion, which makes it different. There’s no sense of home being called a Jew, in the prospective someone is just identifying you. There are Jewish people right here in America, and judging by Anne Frank’s words I’ll bet the jewish-american population are identified as a “Jew” before anything else, and going back into the intro that is the cause of stereotypes. Is it because the Jewish population doesn’t stand out? To be labeled by religion it’s not even as unique as being a number in a system. At least you’re your own special
...ters claim progressive films employ underlying positive subject matters, critics uphold overlying prejudicial themes strengthen specific stereotypes degrading cultures. Exploring the over arching theme of Avatar shows a different perspective of the feel-good theme. Jack Solomon exemplifies the transverse theme that degrades nonwhite cultures by proclaiming, “…but the problem for many critics is that it implies that nonwhites can’t advocate for their own interests without benign whites heroes to lead them. Good-hearted condescension is still condescension.” Solomon uses the example that the minority of the film suffers until the white protagonist, who the audience sympathizes with, realizes the wrongness of the white colonizers actions and “trades races” to help the minority. This plot line allows the presumptive white audience to feel better about themselves.
Based on the long dark history of persecution of Jewish people, I totally understand the author’s pain and her willingness to forget her culture and identity, but I just want to point out that even if it’s possible for Jews really get rid of their current identity, they might still have a multitude of new problems to
