Bone quality assessment is recognized as an important health issue in human life cycle particularly in women. By determining Bone Mineral Density of bone it is possible to detect and better diagnosis of bone disease such as Osteoporosis. DEXA (Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scan is considered as a conventional imaging system which is being practiced by clinicians for this purpose.. On viewing the image one can able to assess the condition of human bone qualitatively. The main drawbacks in this scanning system are the high cost and the harmful x-ray exposure. Previous studies showed that Ultrasonic technique can also used for this purpose. The aim is to develop a simple measurement system for Bone quality assessment that overcomes the demerits in the existing one and to investigate the measurement results.
