Censorship

Censorship is the act of protecting a document, or report, from the public to prevent mass panic. Some reports have a potential of being censored to ensure our safety and not induce panic. I believe that censorship is a great idea in some situations, but it should not be used all the time, since we have the right for information.

An example in which censorship should be used, is of Hurricane Erika. During this time of the year, hurricanes run wild all across the world causing damage and potentially taking lives. As Hurricane Erika was passing through the Dominican Republic, the storm took the lives of about 4 civilians, others yet to be found. This information could induce panic on people,
