This is true but to no extent should this be an excuse because many kids go through things like abuse, they have no money, tragedies may happen. People's lives are being taken away due to gruesome violent acts by children who shouldn’t know anything about this or to commit them. Studies show three different cases of children who have commited crimes, these ages are 11, 15, 14 all cases involved a killing or shooting. Children and teens killing each other and people still say they are too young to know what they are doing is wrong. If there isn’t an improvement to this punishment system the numbers of young criminals will just keep rising and the victim rate will go up.
There are 3 people involved in the bullying, the victim which is the person who is being bullied and the actual bully who is causing the abuse and the last person involved is they bystander is a person who sees the bullying happening. Lots of times bullying makes the victim feel bad about themselves and they start to believe the things the bully is saying about them are true. Most of the time the bully is just looking for attention and they want to be noticed. They want to make themselves seem more important. Some bullies may even come from bad families and that’s what makes them act the way... ... middle of paper ... ...ey are not concentrated and are afraid what the bully will do or say to them.
Teenage crime is when a teenager commits a felony. Most of the time teenage crime is un- punished just because they are teenagers. Teenagers are on the verge of being an adult, so they should be treated like one. Families are also affected by this. They often get angry because they want to help but the teen just wants to be alone.
Greed, according to an electronic source, is another reason for drug abuse among teens, as they get others hooked and sell to them to pay for their own habit. (Guillermo D. Jalil) Peer pressure is probably the main reason most teens abuse illegal drugs. During puberty, many teens suffer with depression. Depression is when a teen is not happy with themselves for real or imagined reasons. They may be suffering from low self-esteem or torment by others, leading to not being happy with their appearance or other physical features.
Juvenile delinquency is the participation of illegal behavior by minors. Usually crimes committed by a child under the age of 18. The young people who usually live in difficult circumstances are the ones who are at risk of becoming “delinquents.” Juvenile delinquency is becoming more complicated and universal. This is a local problem happening in our cities today. It is easy for people to view “juvenile delinquents” as thugs or criminals.

The reason why this rule have been imposed or banned was because many believed that they deserve a second chance. There are many reasons why juveniles commit crimes such as murder. For instance, juveniles do not deserve life sentences because their brain isn 't fully develop yet and lack awareness of their actions. In the article “Startling Finds on Teenage Brains” by Paul Thompson, he explains the development of the brain and how at some situation the brain it isn 't ready and it can affect the person. This effect in divergent ways; psychologically and emotionally.
Tommy G Thompson in his article “Juvenile law needs to come in to ’90s” argues; “Children who rob and murder should be punished in accordance with the severity of their crimes, not the “tenderness” of their age. Youths who run with gangs, terrorizing their neighborhoods, are as frightening as adults; more so, in fact, because they are corrupted so early”. He also states; “gangs are able to use those youths to commit crimes, knowing the punishment won’t be as severe”. In agreement with Thompson, most juvenile delinquents are “run by” gang members and criminal master minds but instead of punishing these young people with adult prosecution and sentencing why don’t we capture the true perpetrators behind it all and clean up our streets from drug dealers and gang
Juvenile delinquency is a serious problem and leads to negative outcomes for youth, families, and society as a whole. Adolescents under the age of 18 who are arrested for committing a criminal act are processed through a juvenile justice system. The juvenile justice system is grounded on the principle that the youth have different needs than adults. During adolescence, youth are forming their identities and still developing mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. Due to their early stages of development, juveniles who violate the law should be treated differently than adults.
