Our Mission
The Panacea Institute for Equality in Education is a programmatic concept with the mission of increasing educational success in children of worst-off families and in doing so break the cycle that perpetuates generational poverty and homelessness. More than education being a seam through which we tear apart the poverty cycle, it has the ability to empower people to change their lives. Through education people learn the extent of their capabilities and develop the skills necessary to implement their ambitions.
In this respect, the Panacea Institute for Equality in Education’s primary purpose is to increase academic achievement among children by removing barriers to academic success for the most at-risk students. The Panacea Institute …show more content…

All organizational goals work in concert with each other to achieve this ultimate aim. Breaking down barriers and building communities is an interconnected process. In the process of removing barriers to educational success, the Institute will be connecting families to social services, as well as facilitating dialogue within and between the institutions that provide them. The processes utilized to achieve the other organizational goals will inform research.
A holistic approach also means that all organization goals will be achieved through programs that are robust in scope. Education services go beyond merely providing tutoring or afterschool enrichment programs by identifying and eliminating structural barriers that impede a child’s educational success. Family services will do more than just connect families to social benefits and welfare programs, by providing a space and common goals that allow them to strengthen bonds, learn valuable skills and realize their capacity to participate in and impact the community that surrounds them. Research will be connected to all aspects of the operation. Researchers will work within the organization at every level, talking to families, staff and administration. Additionally they will be looking at statistical data and conducting qualitative research in the field (e.g. shelters and schools) ensuring that data is
