Recommended: Impact of technology in a society

Our society today has a dependency on advancing technology to improve our way of life as well as the lives of other individuals. Some of us are enamored with the advancement of vehicular technology as well as the way automobiles are used in order to impact our way to get to work, school or to vacate. As the advancement of vehicular technology improves, so does the need of providing safer and more efficient vehicles for transportation. The purpose of automobiles today is to do such things as transport important items and documents, as well as to get to and from the desired destination and efficiently and effectively as possible. Vehicular technology is used to not only serve as an impact to our every lives, but to provide a service for efficient transportation, a safer environment, and profitable industries.
Automobile companies try to ensure that certain vehicles are of highest quality. Vehicles are put through such examinations such as crash tests in order to provide the best and safest vehicles to sell. Such vehicular companies such as Toyota have gone through complications with quality safety features. Recalls on such recent models as the Toyota Camry, Avalon and Avalon Hybrid have had problems with the deploy of the airbags. According the Toyota, "water from the air conditioning condenser unit housing could leak onto the airbag control module and cause a short circuit, resulting in illumination of the airbag warning light". The result of the failure of airbag deployment could cause the airbag to not deploy completely. This problem, if not acted upon, could lead to numerous fatalities in vehicular related accidents. It is without questioning that as technology in automobiles increases and improve, the health and well being of mankind and the entire world will also benefit. Just as advancement in medicine can impact our everyday lives, the technology used in cars will help people of all ethnicities live a safer life whenever on the road for whatever purpose.
