she had in the coming years with many great songs being recorded in the sixties. Lynn soon became best friends with Pasty Cline, another female country singer who helped Lynn navigate the music world. Cline would tragically die in a plane crash leaving Lynn heartbroken and lost with no one there to help her. Lynn songs were influenced by the world around her singing about the struggles of motherhood and wives in her songs “Blue Kentucky Girl” and “Wine, Women, and Song”. Lynn felt what every woman at the time was feeling and that was the suffocation of being stuck in a role and not being able to break out and accomplish what you want, but soon that would change. Of all musical genres country music is perhaps the one most influenced by a male presence. Country music is often associated with the classic cowboy strumming a guitar around a campfire or riding his horse with a guitar strapped to his back. Even the politics of country music is inclined towards a male-dominated, republican, conservative, pro-war stance (Spong 184). The stereotypical women of country music “behave properly” and passively follow the same values as men do. Therefore, in 2003 when the Dixie Chicks, a three member all female country music band, became the top selling female group of all time it was quite an accomplishment. Their success began in 1997 with an image that embraced their versatility. Martie Maguire and Emily Robison, who are sisters, played fiddle and banjo and provided background vocals to lead vocalist Natalie Maines, gifted with a strong, clear voice. Maines stood out from the others with her forceful stage presence. They wore feminine, bling infused, non-countrified outfits. They were pretty to look at and kind of goofy in demeanor (129). The kind of young women fans could imagine having a lot of fun with, but also the kind that young women could identify with through their music. Songs like “Goodbye Earl” described a strong woman who has had enough of her abusive husband and ends up killing him. However, the band delivered it in a style that was far from morose. It sent a clear message of girl power for many women (129). Many accolades followed from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association (CMA) which included Entertainer of the Year, Top Vocal Group, and album of the Year (Towner 293). During the first five years of their career they sold 28 million copies of the three records...

Dolly Parton's unique single of "I Will Always Love You" is about the separation of a professional relationship. The song was re-recorded and was featured as one of the songs in the soundtrack to The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. While the tune's roots may be particular to Dolly Parton, its slant stays widespread. The woman in the melody knows a relationship is over, yet values the time she went through with the individual she is taking off. Despite everything, she needs the best for him. The melody has an instrumental opening with what sounds like a harmonica and guitar and is set with a rhythm of 66 beats every minute. Her words are in a quieted tone with the guitar and violins playing out of sight. Her voice has a delicate tone. At different focuses in the tune, it seems like Parton is talking the words to accentuate her emotions, such as amid the scaffold of the melody.
It is also very obvious that her parents are, and have always been, unquestionably supportive of her. Which is probably why she's not a train wreck as a result of her whirlwind rise to fame. She seems so incredibly grounded. Above all, there is no denying how intelligent she is, which was proven when she told Oprah that she completely avoids all news stories, social media blurbs, and any other gossip about her. She is wise enough to understand that even if she truly does not care what
