Carpentry, what is carpentry? Carpentry is a Skill or trade that involves various types of work, that’s often strenuous, hard labor and can be potentially dangerous if the necessary precautions aren’t taken measure. Carpentry is a versatile trade that’ll move you to one job to another. Carpentry is a unique and variable trade, one day you’ll be working highways/roadwork to ships to even residential buildings, hospitals, and former and bridgework.

Coming to job corps, was the perfect opportunity to find a trade meanwhile receiving the same if not better, vocational training. This school offers so much in the trade of choice Carpentry, with experienced workers as the trade instructors, giving the student hands-on and background behind the trade. Job Corps will help make me ahead of the class and giving the training for the workplace. Upon completion of the course of training, Job Corps offers advanced training and sets you up with the apprenticeship program for those who qualify.

Carpentry’s is constantly evolving, continuing to prosper and with technology making the trade safer while maintaining the stability to help workers work at ease. Accessibility in modern technology makes measurement and weighing materials more precise and less time consumption with just the touch at your fingertips. Out of the four placement areas focused on the MAC12 the company I would like to work for is the Department of the Navy. I would like to be focused on the military because it will give me the advantage of many opportunities and open a lot of door for my future. Join the military and the branch of the navy, will allow me to further my education and be paid for. I would like to go back to college to earn a degree to gain a bigger salary, meanwhile in the department of Navy pick up some skills along the way and certification to help make me more employable.
Ultimately, I would like to be a career that I love, enjoy and have everlasting passion for. I want to live comfortably and retire after my profession and receive all the benefits.
