There are a lot of careers that involve the use of CADD. There are drafters that create the drawings and blueprints that are used on a project. There are many people that use them to complete projects. Civil Engineers and Architects are two examples of people that use blueprints to complete projects. It is a program that can open up doors and help you make a decent salary.
CADD Drafters are the people that use CADD to create drawings. They can work with many people. They will work along side all types of engineers and architects to get their ideas into blueprints or other types of drawings to make the project easier. A CADD Drafter is defined as a proffessional trained to produce techinical drawings, documents, or plans using computer systems and software ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). The software they use most often is CADD. Most CADD Drafters have at least an Associates Degree. They learn and maintain a lot of skills in those two or more years they are in school. They became excellent at drawing and using the computer so they can operate their software like CADD ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). They learn plenty of drafting techniques that allow their drawings to look more realistic and make drawing easier ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). In those two years they will have to gain some knowledge of science and engineering so they can relate to the people they are working with ("What Does a CAD Drafter Do?"). They make a decent salary and only go to school for two years.
A drafter’s salary depends on how much experience they have in the field. It will also depend on what type of drafter they are. They can be an electrical, mechanical, or just a regular drafter. The salary will also depend on who they work for. Some compani...

Among the sterile field of the cardiac catheter laboratory, a student is observing over a cardiologist’s head while a surgical technician narrates their role in the standard ablation. This is just one of the many pivotal experiences that a student in Liberty High School’s Allied Health CTE program can expect. The student is on a path made available by the Western Maricopa Education Center and, if followed properly, that student can expect to graduate high school as a skilled worker in the medical field. Allied Health is just a small portion of a much bigger picture that provides ever growing opportunities to high school students prior to graduation.
As an educator working both in the high school and middle school setting, one point should be made clear. It is never too early to start thinking about a career. Of course, this is preached by most educators on a daily basis, but for the high school student looking for a college, it is still hard to comprehend. What exactly is the criterion for a college or community college and which direction should the high school senior go?
The Draft began in 1936 and had nine rounds, however there were only 81 picks all together. That is extremely different from todays draft where there are only seven rounds, but now there are 256 picks in today’s draft. The very first draft was a result of teams trying to release players on their current roster for new fresh faces to their organizations. This however was shot down by Joe F. Carr President of the NFL at the time. The NFL’s following year announced the idea of a waiver to release players, and then the following year the draft was born. The Draft took place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia and took only two days with no media coverage.

The process starts with a concept or idea.(Mashable) The first stage of 3D printing is planning out this concept with either computer aided design or animation modeling software. There are tons of programs out there today with these capabilities. Google SketchUp for example is known for being easy to use.(3ders) Using some easy tools that can be learned quickly, edges and faces can come together to make very intricate models. It can even be used with Google Earth. All those models of the world in that software are made in what is basically the same process digitally. Blender is the free 3D creation program that exists for the needs of major operating systems.(3ders) It is a high end software containing features that are much more capable than Google SketchUp. Tinkercad is a newer way of creating designs for 3D printers and works slightly faster than the others.(3ders) Containing only three simple tools, it’s effectiveness for creating models is among the best..
The meaning of a CAD jockey is a person that uses computer-aided design tools. The origin is around the 1990’s when computer-aided design tools became available to the general public. The metaphor is appropriate for a person that uses computer-aided design tools. Someone not familiar with the acronym CAD will be confused by this metaphor.
I have conducted my research through interview with someone familiar with construction and development as how geometry is used in these fields.
One is the scenic designer- this is someone who draws out what he wants the set to look like. He sketches it, shows the colors wanted for paint (it is usually up to the scenic designer to talk colors to the design team: the director, lighting director, and costume director), and picks the materials. Then, it is brought over to the build/set side of the equation, led by the technical director. The technical director gives the build crew their assignments, and once everyone has a blueprint or team, the process of building begins. This particular piece of technical theatre is what I am personally interested in. My dream job is to become a set designer or somehow be involved in a build
The benefits of being a computer engineer are unique to those people who like having challenges put in-front of them to solve. This job puts you in challenging positions that you have to problem solve to get out of. Also computer engineers have the ability to fix or even their own computers. Computer engineers get paid vacations, holidays, and sick days.
When I first started robotics, I did not fully understand what an engineer was, and I had some cloudy vision of becoming a police detective in the distant future. However, the more involved I became in the robotics program, the more interested I grew in the whole concept. Being presented with a problem and limitations, such as time constraints, budget constraints, and size and weight constraints, and then have to come up with a feasible design that fits the limitations is an amazing learning experience. However, the process did not end at coming up with a design; in fact, that was just the beginning of a very long road. After the initial design was decided on, us designers spent hours coming up with CAD (computer aided design) mockups, dimensioning every single plane and meticulously going over every centimeter of the virtual version of our robot. With a solid vision in place, construction began and as we learned more about the problem and our own limitations, we were forced to perform small alterations to our design; making it dynamic to fit the ever changing
Art and design are huge aspects of life today, and it influences everyone. Whether we realize it or not, there are signs all around us of trained professionals from art-related industries (Hennessey). Art and design careers can take forms that many people may not have thought about: people with art and design degrees find work in nearly every industry imaginable, in roles that didn’t even exist ten or fifteen years ago (“Art and Design Careers”). Industries and related careers are constantly expanding, providing art and design students with new opportunities. Possibilities for art and design careers are nearly infinite, and and they’re always growing.
...that promotes innovation in the framework of traditional construction practices, by integrating abilities of Building Information Management models. In addition, I am interested on researching the impacts of advanced digital modelling technologies on construction management practices, since I believe in the emerging world of digital architecture; where robotic-arms and machinery replace human resources; construction management is in need of a more sensitive approach.
The job of an interior designer is to create a space that meets their client’s needs by using decorations, lighting, colors, and patterns (“Interior Designers” para. 2). Interior designers focus on how colors, textures, furniture, lighting, and space affects a building and its appearance (“Interior Designer Career” para. 1). They create designs that can help raise productivity, sell merchandise, and improve lifestyle (“Interior Designer” What’s para. 1). Most designers have a specialty or certain style of a building or space they they work on, and others may work for home furnishing stores (“Interior Designers” para. 11). Going through the process that an interior designer goes through to make a design is time consuming. They begin with the first step which is called programming (“Interior Designer Career” para. 4). This first step is like an evaluation; the designer meets with the client, determines their needs, wishes, preferences, and budget, and surveys their working space (“Interior Designer Career” para. 4). Once the client’s information is gathered, the designer will normally use CAD software to create a design and
Imagine designing a dream home with all the color and space conceivable. This illustrates the work of an interior designer. A "schemer, intriguer, or plotter," could prosper in a career of design (dictionary.com, 'designer'). A career in interior design allows innate abilities of creativity and organization to be practiced in satisfying a client's desire for style and flare in their home or workplace.
Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life. It is so important because that is what we will have to do to support ourselves throughout life. Imagine being stuck in a dead end job and having to go to work every morning and dreading it. That is no spending oneÕs time and life is too short to work 35 years and be unhappy with it. If a person likes the job they do then it is not work, because finding satisfaction out of a job can bring great happiness. That information has enabled me to make the decision of choosing my area of study and career in the field of Information Technology.
