The salary now for the Average Annual Wage is $60,730 and the Hourly Wage is $29.20. In this career your tasks and responsibilities. For my tasks I must be able to collaborate in this career and assist others in this career if I need to. Also, I need to plan and evaluate and modify the treatment program.
My responsibilities is I would have to handle a load to 10 Ibs up to 20 Ibs. Also, I have to be able to identify colors seeing differences in color, including shades and brightness. I must be able to see clearly up close. Identifying the speech of others is very important and that is one of my responsibilities that I need to know and have. The community for being a Registered Nurse is Public Health/Community Nurse/Nursing. It helps prepare Registered Nurses to promote health and provide preventive and curative nursing services for groups or communities under the supervision of a public health agency. The volunteering opportunities for being a Registered Nurse is being a nurse volunteer. They say it is a great way to make connections, and learn new skills and network.
College Goals:
In college the degree that I will be getting for this career is an Associates Degree. It says that I can have an Associates Degree and still get a job with it for being a Registered Nurse. Southwestern community college is one of the top colleges cfnc suggested.
The program at Southwestern Community College is Allied Health Diagnostic, Intervention, and Treatment Professions. But, also Forsyth Technical Community College is one too.
The Degree it takes is Associate Degree. The academic studies I will be taking is Reading Comprehension, Active Listening, Critical Thinking, Speaking, and which has to be a level 5 so like medium level. My not necessary skills is math and science. The other skills that are important, but, not the most important is Writing, Active Learning, Learning Strategies, and Monitoring which is all level 3 and
I had the opportunity to take the 16 Careers Cluster Inventory. I found the assessment very easy to take. As well, I found the inventory easy to score. My results of the assessment indicated my top three career areas were: 1. Educational and Training, 2. Health Sciences, and 3 had a three way tie between Human Services, Hospitality, and Law enforcement. I found the assessment to be dead on. Based upon the past personality inventories that I have taken I found the suggested areas very appropriate. One of the appealing aspects of the inventory was the easy of taking it! It seemed to gather accurate information without being overly pathological and test-driven.
The national shortage of Registered Nurses (RNs) has helped generate formidable interest in the nursing profession among people entering the workforce and those pursuing a career change. According to a report issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service in 2002, the national population is continuing to grow and age and medical services continue to advance, so the need for nurses will continue to increase. They report from 2000 to 2020 the predicted shortage of nurses is expected to grow to 29 percent, compared to a 6 percent shortage in 2000. With the projected supply, demand, and shortage of registered nurses and nursing salaries ever-increasing, the nursing profession can offer countless opportunities. But first one must determine which educational path to pursue, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in nursing (ADN). Most will initially be educated at the associate degree level, even though the American Organization of Nursing Executives (AONE) has recommended a baccalaureate level as a minimal for entry-level nurses. With the expanding number of RN to BSN programs available there is always the option to further one’s education at a later date. The benefits for acquiring a BSN over an ADN include a better knowledge for evidence-based practice, an increased advantage for promotion, and the necessary gateway for higher education.
My topic that I am researching is a Radiology Technician. Basically, their job is to help Physicians take x-rays and to help them out with the readings. They also perform cat scans, ultrasounds, and radiation therapy. This article informs the reader of the job duties and occupational specialties. It tells them what they need to be able to do, such as noticing detail and clearly communicating. It also provides them with educational and preparation opportunities. The training is provided and the work environment is in mainly hospitals or, if you are in combat, a mobile field hospital (#10). They need to be physically ready, able and willing to perform their duties. They have to be very alert and vigilant in trying to study and notice the very in depth detail of the images they produce. Radiologist Technicians have a very small field of workplaces they may be at. If they are combat, such as military, they will be in what is called a mobile hospital field. Nina Wellman Russell Ultrasound Technician I’m very interested in going to school and studying to be an ultrasound technician. This position varies depending on what location you work at. In a hospital setting it can vary anywhere from looking at the stomach,heart,liver,joints,muscles,tendons and blood vessels. How the ultrasound machine (sonogram) works is it’s high rate sound waves to detect what’s going on in the body, not only on humans but a lot of different living organisms depending on the situations.

During high school, nurses usually took and excelled at classes science and math based such as chemistry, biology, and algebra. However, high school background does not matter in the process of becoming a nurse. To become a basic registered nurse, there are many routes to get to that goal. Pursuing nursing is my passion as it is my ambition to be there to help and serve others which I know will bring value to my own life as well.
