Car Stereos
I. Almost everyone has a car stereo of some sort in their automobile, however not everyone understands how they are put together.
A. Has anyone ever been sitting at a red light while being annoyed by the person next to you, or behind you with their bass so loud it shakes your rear view mirror? Well I am going to explain how that works.
B. I have been installing car stereos for around a couple of years now. It started off with just installing my own and progressed to doing or helping all of my other friends install them in their car.
C. Most peoples extent of knowledge of car stereos is that of “ If I put the CD in the CD player then the sounds come out of the speakers.” However what they do not understand is that a car stereo is an intricate system of wires, amps, and acoustics that all come together to produce the right sound.
D. Throughout this speech I will introduce everyone to the wires used in a car stereo, how those wires are used, and some tools that are needed in the installation of a car stereo.
II. A car stereo is broken down into two main parts.
A. There are a number of wires necessary for a car stereo to produce
Sound.
1. The RCA wires are the wires that relay the sound from the receiver to the amp. These are connected to from the back of the CD player to the RCA jacks on the side of the amp.
2. The power wire is the main source of power for the amp. This wire is connected to the main positive terminal on the cars battery and run through a fuse and finally to the amp.
3. The ground wire is the
of the higher frequencies to be heard clear in a space the size of the AEROSTAR.
The sounds relevant to the driver will be inputted by sensors on the car and outputted as specific
Someone with some kind of car audio experience should attempt these next steps. Start off by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery. First items to install will be the speakers in the car. Usually there will be two in the front doors and two in the rear. First you need to remove any screws that might be holding the door panel on. Usually you will find them around the door handle and armrest. Next position the door panel removal tool under the door panel and align it with one of the round retaining clips. Now just pry the clip upward. Continue until all of them have been removed and the door panel comes off. Now you will be able to see ...
Most people drive cars that are not necessarily new and therefore installing used parts becomes a perfect as
The simple car that was easy to fix with some simple tools have now become as complex as a supercomputer on wheels. Most people today have decided that automobiles of today are too complicated and just send their cars to a professional for repairs. As of January 2013, the average age of a vehicle operating on the roads today is 11.4 years old. (Associated Press, 2013). People are holding on to their cars a lot longer than in the past. Although, some claim that it is because today’s cars last longer. There is no doubt that today’s economy is also playing a part in the public’s reluctance to part with their older vehicles. However, cars will always need repairs.
The issue of whether customers should buy FWD and RWD cars is complex and controversial. Different people hold different ideas due to their drive experience and consumers attitudes. On one hand, lots of people believe that only RWD cars represent Luxury and high-performance. On the other hand, the car made on FWD are much cheaper and popular. However, most of customers are blind and ignorant on it. Many of them don’t even know the automobile layout of their sedan after use it for decades.

The sub-woofer, or sub, is a speaker that is designed with the specific purpose of delivering
It is utterly selfish to change the radio station when there are living entities in the lanes surrounding me. If not used properly a car can be a lethal weapon. So, it is imperative that I follow the road laws and my attention is solely focused on driving. Before this happened, I didn’t even think messing with my stereo system could lead to an accident but my eyes were opened through this car collision. From now on I try to make sure the car in front of me and I are separated by a large but appropriate amount of space and focus on the road. Life is too precious to let my mind wander on subjects such as changing the song, brushing my hair, taking a call, or even reaching for my water bottle in order to hydrate. There are a time and a place for everything. With that being said, these petty distractions can be put on hold in order to cruise safely. From the moment to my car engine roaring on and put into the gear of drive to me settling into a parking space and putting it in the park I will tunnel my attention onto the road and the road
many people may have thought a mechanic could only be some who worked on cars
The word turntable is the modern term used to describe what is known as the phonograph, gramophone, or record player. The first turntable was invented by Thomas Edison in 1877. It was the first device used for recording and playing back sounds. Modern turntables have the same fundamental components as their ancestors, albeit slightly more sophisticated in design. This paper covers the fundamental technical aspects of modern turntables.
It is 2015 and the use of technology in young student and kids is skyrocketing. Geniuses have come up with automobiles t...
Produced sound from speakers has become so common and integrated in our daily lives it is often taken for granted. Living with inventions such as televisions, phones and radios, chances are you rarely ever have days with nothing but natural sounds. Yet, few people know the physics involved in the technology that allows us to listen to music in our living room although the band is miles away. This article will investigate and explain the physics and mechanism behind loudspeakers – both electromagnetic and electrostatic.
Cars are the ultimate symbol of independence and individualism. They offer more than freedom. No other man made creation but car fulfills a man’s ego. Technology has been the evidence of how cars have evolved for about more than a century now. From a first car packing a single cylinder 958cc, 0.75hp engine to today’s most powerful 8000cc W16, 1300bhp Veyron. We live in such an engineering savvy era where even an increase of few grams in a vehicle’s weight means going back to the drawing board to get unerring dynamic performance. And for these exuberant reasons, mechanical engineering was a mere choice rather than a chance for me.
A few months ago I bought my first new car. The number of choices to be made seemed a little ridiculous. I walked into the dealer knowing I wanted a green Ford Focus sedan, only to find out there were half a dozen models that fit into that category – Focus LX, LX Premium, SE, SE Comfort, ZTS, blah blah blah, and a couple shades of green.
