Have you ever wondered whether or not canned food is bad for you? Whenever you eat canned food do you ever think what you are really eating, and about what bad things are in it? Well, you should worry because there is a possibility that a canned food you are eating contains life risking preservatives. For example, canned food contains less nutrition than fresh food. Another example is that canned food has various dangerous preservatives in it causing life risking side effects. Because of preservatives, canned food leads to health problems. Not only… but also there are many dangerous add ins like botulism or BPA. Botulism is very rare, but is created by a germ called Clostridium Botulinum. This germ is found in soil, and it is just like a living creature because it can grow, survive, and produce more toxins. This germ could possibly be found in canned food, and if you take even a small taste it can be deadly. Medical symptoms of this may include double vision, blurred vision, drooping eyelids, slurred speech, difficulty swallowing, a thick-feeling tongue, dry mouth, muscle weakness, and it can lead to death. Bisphenol A known as BPA is a chemical found most commonly in plastic, but it is also found in canned foods too. BPA can be found in medical devices, dental sealants, compact discs, water bottles, the lining of canned foods and drinks, and many other products.
