Busy Bubbles Laundromat and Car Cleaning

May not be the most welcoming of banners, and yet if you are a wash customer you are one of the privileged and included. This wonderful space of washing, drying, tanning and car cleaning has to be the one and only Busy Bubbles. A small building just north of NDSU, this is an extraordinarily busy little corner of the world we call Fargo- Moorhead. Not only, can you wash your car and tan; this is a 24-hour laundromat that features: free drying! Doesn’t sound like much in the large scheme of things, and yet the numbers of people that visit this business in a week is staggering. And while the NDSU campus is very close, and the word “FREE” is connected to this establishment, it is not only college students that frequent this place of business. For an avid people watcher this place is a gold mine! Everyone needs clean clothes, and people of all kinds find their way to Busy Bubbles to complete this chore.
Busy Bubbles is a smallish building considering all of the activity that goes on inside. The first thing you notice as you approach the building, are the standard car wash stalls. The functional appearance of the inside isn’t really surprising until you start to look around. The ordered green and white design on the wall seems a little at odds with the funky mismatched furniture, and the hodgepodge message board. Any one need a used truck or a new kitten? Maybe you would like to work out of your home? Or apply to be a foster care family? This board will cover any of your needs. The room appears a bit sterile, but there are little areas where you can’t miss the touch of humanity. Don’t forget to check the lost and found basket before you leave.

...le have entered. Two couples, one with a small child. I find it curious how both of these husbands disappear as soon as the laundry is in the wash. I can see them out starting to wash their cars. Do they know how to run the washers? Or are they intimidated by a group of women together chatting? Even my new friends husband has found other things to do in the midst of this chatter. Women always have something to chat about with complete strangers. Well in the middle of all this simple chatting I’ve finished my chore.
I say goodbye to the friendly couple, knowing it’s likely I’ll never see then again. That’s how it is at the laundromat I guess. You meet people, pass the time, and then you all go your separate ways. I wonder out loud, as I go, if the pyjama lady will remember to come back for her clothes. I guess I’ll have to check out the lost and found next time.

The girls, and who'd blame them, are in a hurry to get out, so I say "I quit" to Lengel quick enough for them to hear, hoping they'll stop and watch me, their unsuspected hero. They keep right on going, into the electric eye; the door flies open and they flicker across the lot to their car, Queenie and Plaid and Big Tall Goony-Goony (not that as raw material she was so bad), leaving me with Lengel and a kink in his eyebrow.

After writing about both the Trinity and Salvation, I have learned that they are immensely interconnected. The Trinity allows human beings to find Salvation. All in all, the Trinity is not three separate parts, but one part with three different essences.

In conclusion, the doctrine of the Trinity is completely and totally biblical. The Trinity can be summarized under three essential statements. That God is three persons, each person is fully God and there is one God. Knowing the biblical doctrine of the Trinity will enable us to know, and worship God more fully. Through the doctrine of the Trinity, we will be able to understand the salvation. Knowing the doctrine of the Trinity and its biblical basis in the Old and New Testaments is very important because it will shape how we view Jesus and how we imitate God. Knowing the doctrine of the Trinity will help us to share the gospel in a right way.
The doctrine of the Trinity, as seen in the Christian bible, is primary to the Christian faith. The word “Trinity” does not actually appear in the bible; it is a theological label meant to summarize certain teachings of certain passages of scripture, and is crucial to properly understand what God is like, how He relates to us, and how we relate to Him. It may also raise many difficult questions including what does it mean that God is a Trinity? While it is difficult for us to fully understand everything about the trinity, it is quite possible to answer questions like this one and come to a solid grasp of what it means for God to be three in one.

One of the Huggies Diapers commercials recently seen on national television uses an unusual approach to convince the target market that Huggies are superior to all other diapers; these diapers are cutting-edge for their fashion and capacity to establish social dominance. The commercial implies in forty-three seconds that these diapers create exclusive and amazing living conditions for those fortunate children who wear them, particularly if the wearer is a male, white toddler. The marketing scheme utilizes the concepts of wealth and privilege as the requisites for determining not only diaper effectiveness but also present and perhaps future recognition, authority, social status, and success. The commercial suggests that children who wear these couture diapers are living in the lap of luxury: well-groomed and fashionably dressed, out on the town, acknowledged, capable, and secure, confident even with excrement in their pants. The absurd objective that these diapers claim to achieve does not offer credible evidence to diaper buyers to purchase these diapers for the purpose that diapers are intended.
Human cloning is dangerous. It is estimated that between 95 and 98 percent of cloning experiments have failed (Genetics and Society). These downfalls to cloning are in the form of miscarriages and stillbirths (Genetics and Society). Cloned human beings also run the risk of having severe genetic abnormalities. Children cloned from adult DNA would, in a sense, already have “old” genes. These children’s main problem would be developing and growing old too quickly. This includes arthritis, appearance, and organ function. Since the chance of having a child with mental and physical problems is so much higher than that of a normally conceived child, cloning should be illegal.

The first thing I notice when I walk in to the center on an early Monday afternoon is the smell, that acute smell of spray-on cleaning solution used in hospitals. Everything is completely static clean, and the entrance lobby reminds me off my dentists’ office. Tasteful blue chairs and maroon couches surround a large waiting area in full view of a receptionists’ desk on the side. The magazines on the coffee table are of the inconsequential type, stuff like “Parenthood” and “Popular Mechanic.” A couple people are casually waiting; pleasant, normal looking people. What is the Trinity? Is written by RC Sproul and gives historical and philosophical context as to the relationship of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Sproul starts the book with a look into what monotheism is and how religion has evolved. He explains all religions evolved from animism to polytheism, henotheism, and then monotheism. There has been much debate since then as to whether the bible is monotheistic and what the origins of monotheism were. Other than where, when, and with whom monotheism started, he gets into the Trinity. If there is in fact one god then how can he be three? The Old Testament firmly establishes that there is one God; meanwhile the New Testament declares that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is divine. This brings Sproul into how we have over time tried to figure this out.
