Bullying
In schools and other places around the world bullying has affected people’s lives. About 36 percent of middle school students reported being bullied compared to 25.8 percent of high school students. Also, 1 in 6 students is regularly bullied on a day to day basis at school. This shows how real of an issue bullying in America is. Not only does bullying affect the victims but it can also affect the family members of the victim. Actions need to be taken to help reduce and then eventually stop this problem. No problems as big as bullying can be solved over night, so we must take steps to eliminate bullying. There are many different ways we can intervene and put bullying to an end.
In our time today bullying is affecting the U.S. as a whole. We are discriminating all Muslims because we are associating them with terrorists. This is not the right way to go about the situation. Terrorism is not associated to one religion and it is unfair to single out one religion or group of people for the actions of an extreme radical group.
There is no philosophy that states bullying is a right and just thing. Everyone should follow the golden rule and treat others the way they want to be treated. No kid wants to go to school and be scared about what might happen to them. With bullying the victims are …show more content…

There are different ways a bystander can prevent bullying from occurring. Some bystanders directly intervene, by discouraging the bully, defending the victim, or redirecting the situation away from bullying. Other bystanders get help, by rallying support from peers to stand up against bullying or by reporting the bullying to adults. In this method the bystander would see what is going on between the bully and the victim. After seeing what is going on the bystander would report to the adult so they will be able to take care of it. Both of these methods are a very effective way to put bullying to an end in
