Bronfenbrenner’s model involved how a person responded to their surroundings. It was all separated into four different systems. Growing up as a child, my family was always together and happy. Nothing ever seemed to put us down, not even the roughest times that impacted our lives. My family was together through ups and downs and they showed me that families should stay united no matter what circumstances occur. As a child, school always had a positive environment and it helped me learn so many things in life. My teachers were caring and a big help when it came to helping us learn. My parents always treated my peers as if they were their own kids and they always had a perfect bond. My parent’s interaction with the school was quite overwhelming. They always went to my parent- teacher conferences, volunteered when we had student activities, helped out in school when help was need. They bonded with the teachers very well and even outside of school they maintained communication. Every single day when my siblings and I got home from school, mom would sit down with us after dinner and help us with homework and to study. She always found a way to make homework and studying entertaining and not boring. My community would make tournaments and have activities for the kids to go and participate. Including but not limited to basketball tournaments and coloring contests. When it came to having field day at school, my community would help support it by volunteering, making sure we were safe and having fun. When there were soccer games and baseball games at school, people from my community would come and cheer for the kids playing. There was never a dull moment when it came to the kids in the community. From the case presented it is my assumption that Rosa is living in a Spanish speaking household, Rosa is a 12 year old child with good interpersonal and Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence. Her high interpersonal intelligence has made her able to meet friends and because of this constant communication she was able to grasp the speaking aspect of English Language and has adjusted to her living and school environment. Rosa has grasped the speaking aspect of English but has not learned the structure of English Language; hence she is struggling with the written component of English language. By maintaining such partnerships, we create a healthy environment for children to develop. All families have something unique to offer and educators need to recognize this and make the most of it by incorporating all families into the school community.

In a study by Joseph Murphy, a sociologist at Vanderbilt University, he acknowledges that a home school education carries a lot of requirements for the family’s time investments (Murphy 253). Parental involvement promotes the social growth of a child. Children whose parents are involved in their education have many advantages. They have better grades, test scores, long-term academic achievement, attitudes and behavior than those with disinterested mothers and fathers (Gestwicki, 2001). Parents becoming involved in their child's schooling creates extra sources of social constraint to influence the child's behavior (McNeal, 2001). For example, parents talking to their children and becoming involved in the school conveys a message to the child of education being important. Parents should be talking with your children's teacher and letting her know about your family. The more she knows about your child, the better she will be able to connect with your child.

There are many perks however, in working as a model. For example, if working as a runway model, it is not unheard of to have a salary of five hundred dollars per hour. The amount of an hourly salary is dependent upon the popularity of the company or brand being modeled and if the model has a good reputation. I believe that parents play a vital role in influencing children during the development process as they create a lasting impact on the child’s overall development as well as on the socialization development. As children grow, they encompass a number of factors influencing their attitudes along with the behavior of that child. These attitudes and characteristics are learned initially from their parents. I also believe that when we are in middle school is when we want to be different to fit in with our peers. We see our peers and believe that the things they are doing are cool; we also want them to like us so we start to do the same things as them, which shows then that friends start to influence us more than adults.
They will hold our hands on our first days of new adventures, and wipe our tears when our delicate worlds are rocked. Some will be our friends of the moment, and some will stand by our side, on our sports teams, on our graduations, at our weddings, and during our retirements. While our parents help and support us while growing, our friends will grow with us. These valuable attachments are cherished and needed, and their emotional embrace will always comfort us. With these friends we enter the world of education, our basis to survive in the outside world.
