The possibility that bringing light rail transportation to Vancouver had been a topic ever since the Columbia Crossing Project started. Many peoples feel that Vancouver should bring light rail to Vancouver while others feel the opposite opinion. People thinks the idea that bringing light rail to Vancouver will reduce traffics and provide more safety in the streets. Although this may be true, I think that we should not bring the light rail to Vancouver because they will need to spend big money on the light rail, it will increases crimes to the city, and it will bring a overall track record. Light rail only runs at certain places, which means not every part of Vancouver will have the access to the light rail. This will not only increases traffic, but it also makes the accessibility more difficult and less convenience for the people. This, however, is not the only problem with light rails. Moreover, it will increases crimes to the city. According to the CRC Facts, when light rail move from one place to another, there is a possible problem that it will transport crime from area to another.
