Bring Back Chocolate Milk

How do you see chocolate milk? As something that will make you gain 50 pounds, or a drink that gives you the same nutrients as white milk? You could gain 50 pounds... but really. That would take a lot of chocolate milk. Chocolate milk has its positives and negatives, but I think that there are more positives than negatives. I think that chocolate milk should be brought back to the school cafeteria. Some types of chocolate milk don't have that much sugar, many students would like to have it back, and, it has the same rich nutrients as white milk.

The first reason we should bring back chocolate milk is that many students want it back. In a recent survey taken by me and Bryan, 76.9 % of Ms. Folendorf and Mrs. Melville’s homeroom classes voted that chocolate milk should be brought back to school. I think that our grade’s opinion reflects the opinion of most students in school. But in order confirm this, we will need to get the whole school's’ opinion. Some parents mistakenly think that all chocolate milk has a lot of sugar in it. Some brands do not have that much sugar in it. For example, a cup of premade Nesquik chocolate milk has 24 grams of sugar in it, compared to a cup of premade TruMoo chocolate milk which has 18 grams of sugar. According to a Google search, a cup of 1% White milk has about 14 grams of sugar (lactose) in it. That means that there are only about 4 grams of added sugar in TruMoo® chocolate milk.
