The brain is a restricted site that needs to be sheltered from molecular components, pathogens and other dangerous substance of the body crossing from the circulatory system into the brain to prevent any brain disorders or illness to occur. This is done by what is called the blood-brain barrier (BBB); by restricting the flux of harmful chemicals into the brain effectively, and also which entirely controls the trade between the blood and brain segments.
