If you are trying to decide between two sports, just do what this person did. He became a professional baseball and football player. I think Bo Jackson is one of the most talented people on this earth. Bo Jackson should be inducted into the NFL hall of fame, because of his long list of achievements, his innovation, and his inspiration.

The first reason Bo Jackson should be in the hall of fame is his long list of achievements. When Jackson was in high school, he was a two time state decathlon champion (“Bo Jackson biography”). Bo Jackson was the first athlete to be named all-star in baseball and in the NFL’s Pro Bowl. Jackson broke many records in the NFL. When he had his hip injury and had to get surgery, he did not quit, he kept playing (“Bo Jackson Biography”). This inspired athletes all over the nation, because he showed an injury does not mean you stop following your dream. “He came back with a prosthetic hip and was able to battle back” (“Bo Jackson Yellowhammer”). Jackson has inspired many to follow their dream. He proved that even against all odds, you can still reach your dream if you just try your hardest and not give up: Set your goals high and don’t give up until you reach that goal.

Several people say that Bo liked baseball more than football and that is true. But this does not mean he did not try his hardest and does not belong in the NFL Hall of Fame. Jackson broke many records in his career: was named MVP in the Pro Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and Rookie of the Year. Not only did he break many records, he continued to break records after his injury.
