Black Lives Matter
The United States has been struggling with racism since the 17th century (sound). In the United States today, we deal with many different groups of racism. One group is called “Black Lives Matter.” This is important in our society because this group of people is causing many problems. It is necessary to ban Black Lives Matter because police officers are getting hurt, no one thinks about black on black lives, and white officers are getting blamed for their police work. The first issue is that many police officers are getting hurt by Black Lives Matter.
There are many reasons as of to why Black Lives Matter is a big deal. One reason is that police officers are getting hurt and even killed from the angry protests. Police officers …show more content…

Black Lives do not matter to most of the black people in the United States, only the lives that are taken by police officers or white people matter (BBC). All police officers should be respected no matter what color they are. When a black police officer is shot and killed people just ignore it. “ I wandered if it would have been me, a black man, a black cop, that was on tv, assassinated, laying dead on the ground….would my friends and family still think that black lives mattered (BBC)?” If black lives matter is for black lives, then why are they against black lives? If there is a police officer that is black, black people should not be against him. “I watched crime in my hood. Black people killing other black people over nothing. I wanted to help my community and stop watching the blood of Black Americans on the street by the hands of a black man (BBC).” Black police officers see this violence that has went on in their neighborhoods and wanted to change lives. “My fellow black friends attacking me, wishing for my death and my family's death. I was so torn I could not understand why they were against me. Every time something happend...I was there. Every Time they were going through tough times... I was there (BBC).” Every police officer should be treated the same no matter what race they are. Black Lives Matter is a group that is against police officers. If this world did not have police officers it would be out of control. All police officers deserve the same respect but many people are blaming the killings of black teenagers on the men and women who protect this
