On November 15th, I had scheduled an appointment for the Biz Town assignment. This was part of my Management 105 class and it was worth 100 points. Our teacher suggested us to go because it would help us to extend our knowledge around the management field. She also stated that it would be such a great experience because it would have to do with the children’s training. Unfortunately, my scheduled date had cancelled for some reasons. Literally, I was kind of disappointed because I was really prepared for this moment. First, I felt such a way because this activity would be a sufficient tool for my resume. Second, I feel always good to work along with the children even though it is really hard to deal with them. Thus, this event could be a good tip for me in order to become a good parent in the future. However, when our teacher announced the cancellation of date to me, I felt very confused and frustrated. Due to these emotions, I didn’t know what to decision to make but our teacher tranquilized me by telling me that we were going to have a personal discussion about this topic. After the class was ended, my teacher and I headed to her office. I explained to her the way I was feeling about this situation and I couldn’t be able to make it another date due to my burdened schedule. However, she said that I didn’t have to reschedule another day because it wasn’t my fault to what happened. When I heard this statement from my teacher, I started feeling a little bit more comfortable and making positive thoughts. Although, she said that I could write by explaining how this experience can be related to the management. Then, I came up with three aspects bad management such as communication, planning, organizing and decision making.
First of all, communication is an aspect of management that plays a sufficient role in the individual’s profession. Therefore, communication management is a broad field that covers many different specialties and disciplines. In my opinion, even though the Biz Town kept me informed about the cancelation of the date, they didn’t have the discipline to explain the reason why they decided to cancel this particular date.
