“I’m going to turn this world upside down “said the young Martin Luther king Jr. (1). Martin Luther king Jr. had a dream and a promise that one day this world would be different and we will be free. That dream grew and grew until he let the world know.
He was born in his family home in Atlanta on Tuesday January 15, 1929. Martin was the first son but he had a sister named Christine. His two parents were Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta Williams King. When he was younger he could slug a baseball and sing hymen. He could not do much because of his dark skin. At dinner he would recite prayers every night. Martin was one of those kids that never gave up hope he knew he could change the world.
On June 18, 1953 in Marion Alabama he married Coretta Scott. Two years later they had their first child Yolanda Denise November 17 in Montgomery Alabama. Later they had their second child Martin Luther King II on October 23, 1957 in Montgomery, Alabama. He had his last two kids Dexter Scott and Bernice Albertine (January 30, 1961 & March 28, 1963) were born in Atlanta, Georgia.
Montgomery bus boycott lasted over a year. This all started because Rosa Parks would not give up her seat to a white person. This boycott caused the transit system a huge problem. The boycott ended and signaled one of the civil rights movement’s first victories.
The Albany movement in 1961 was a protest against city segregation policies. While this protest martin was jailed but would decline bail till they changed the segregation policies. After they changed something’s he left jail and Albany, then a year later he came back and found out they did not change much. So then he came back to Albany and was jailed again for the protest he did with a $178 bail or 45 days in ja...

Martin Luther king Jr. made his last public appearance at the Mason Temple in Memphis, Tennessee on April 3, 1968.Then on April 4, 1968 he was shot while standing on the second floor balcony of his room at the Lorraine motel. At 6:01pm he was taken to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead at 7:05pm.
They rode the streets of Memphis in creaky dangerous garbage trucks, picking up trash form home to home after his death. The reason they rode in trucks is because it was a symbol of a protest they did with martin. They done this after his death to honor him for all he has done.
Segration is what Martin Luther king jr. did to change the world. He did this by specking aloud and not giving up a fight. He was able to make a movement so all African Americans could get their civil rights
