Big Five Personality Analysis

The Big Five is the most widely accepted and used model of personality. The model consists of broad dimensions of personality traits. These dimensions are: Openness to Experience/Intellect, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. Upon completion of the Big Five Personality test, my results were somewhat surprising to me. Overall, I scored on the low end for Openness to Experience/Intellect, Extraversion and Neuroticism dimensions and on the high end for Conscientiousness and Agreeableness dimensions. For the Openness to Experience/Intellect, my score indicated that I prefer traditional and familiar experiences. In allowing them to have a voice, they will be able to offer feedback or contributions (positive or negative) that can be instrumental in some decision making. I will set the example by being a good role model, so that they will not only hear what they are expected to do, but also see. “We must become the change we want to see.” Mahatma Gandhi. In looking out for their well-being, I will let them know that they are appreciated and that I sincerely care. It will be very important for me to be a great communicator and keep them inform to satisfy their want and the feeling of being in on things within the organization. After all they are a vital part in the organization. To be kept in the dark will be so demoralizing to them. I will let them know about my open door policy so they can talk to me and I will take the time to listen not only to the words, but to the hidden message behind
