Leadership, just like many other words, deems itself very subjective. Specifically, I believe that it defines itself by using yourself to better others. Examples like Beowulf and Lt. Colonel Hal Moore help identify leadership by setting examples for selflessness and bravery to his brothers of humanity. These men were able to efficiently lead for themselves and, more importantly, for their men by using heroism, altruistic integrity, and charm. Beowulf sets off to the land of the Danes for two reasons in mind. Beowulf wants to help his allies and further their friendship, but he also wants to establish his fame even more.
