Today I want to ask you, what is the one thing that keeps us healthy, strong, entertained, attractive and happy? Probably everyone will agree that there is just one answer to this question and it is sport. However, not everybody knows how exactly it affects our inner and outer states and how our organism responds to physical strain. Thus, in this article I will try to familiarize you with sport’s benefit and effect to our life.
The most obvious benefit of sport is to our physical appearance and health. It strengthens muscles, improves bloodstream and respiratory system and helps to remove harmful substances from our body. Because of these factors increases stamina and therefore we are able to perform physical tasks better. Also, physique becomes more attractive to us and others: smooth and fresh skin, nice form and correct posture.
The other important side of life is our mental health and sport has a very big significance on it. Scientists have already proved that approximately after 30 minutes of active physical work organism releases serotonin and endorphin, so called hormones ...
...he people playing the sports aren’t very happy while playing them. But because they are good at it, and get paid to play, they force themselves to be happy. Sports, in our culture, can be a very beneficial thing, but it can also be very detrimental to the mind and body of those playing them. Even though we enjoy participating, either physically or visually, in sports, think of how damaging they can be to the ones who really get hurt.
Are high school sports beneficial or non-beneficial for students? I personally believe if a student is in a high school sport they’re forced to prioritize between school and their sport, and at a young age I believe the student would decide to use his time to improve in his sport instead of school. Which in the long run would affect his academics, unless they decide to stay up late and work on their homework to keep up with both school and their sport. But, even like that in time the lack of sleep would catch up to them, and cause them to do even worse in both academics, and sports. High school sports are like the lotto in my opinion, many play but only a few get rewarded for their work. Therefore, high school sports cause more negativity than positivity.
At age four, I started my first sport, soccer. From the very first practice, I was simply hooked to the new responsibility to show up at practice every Tuesday and a game every Saturday for my new Blue Valley Recreation team. I had so much fun with my soon-to-be kindergarten classmates! As I grew, I joined more and more sports like softball and dance classes, and I would do anything to get outside and play some football or tag with my family. From the time I was four until now, my love for sports and exercise has only multiplied and multiplied. Apart from the love of playing, I feel I may have gained something more from playing sports all these years. Though I was not entirely certain as to what or why I benefited from playing sports so long, I knew I had some attributes that many other non-athletes did not.
First, playing football has health benefits. It gives people an overall workout. With intensity and range in the movements of the game like kicks, twists, turns, and throws, the game helps build long-term fitness and burn fat. Next, it practices significant
Several researches have revealed that physical exercise has relieved many people from symptoms of anxiety and depression. During physical activity and exercise, the body produces a type of chemical called “serotonin”, a chemical that aids while dealing with anxiety, stress and depression. Studies also have shown that people who participate in sports results in higher self- esteem and a more positive self- image. Many studies made conclusions that adolescents and students who take part in sports and physical activities tend to have positive and higher self esteem than students who do not play sports and often tend to result better in academic performances at school.

“Sports are for fun, but they also offer benefits and lessons that carry over into all aspects of life”. This well-known anonymous quotation conveys the message that sport is the game which has some rules and custom. It is not only for fun and entertainment, but there are also some benefits of playing sports and which gives some important lessons for life. Every kind of physical sports is healthy because it involves running, jumping, stretching, mind skills and much more. There are so many sports available in the world nowadays, but we can categorize them by the numbers of players, the three main categories are individual sport, dual sport and team sport.
Sports programs have been an integral part of all schools. They support the academics of the school and therefore foster success in life. These programs are educational and help produce productive citizenship. They help students experience and build skills that may help them in their future, like interpersonal and time management skills. Education may kindle the light of knowledge, but sports help to maintain the proper physique. Sports are also an important means of entertainment and a use for energy after long hours of study. Sports increase a student’s performance not only in the classroom but also in their life.

In conclusion, it is explicit that sports is a positive influence on athletes, spectators and the world as a whole as it teaches imperative life lessons as well as allows its participants to experience enjoyment, fulfilment and gratification. As mentioned previously sports enables its players to bring out the best in others and create unity amongst groups as team work is so essential. The benefits of sports range from physical, mental, and social. Exercise keeps people fit, develops healthy muscle tone, and reduces heart and lung problems (Oak, Manali). Sports studies have shown that “youth are motivated and engaged in ways that do not happen regularly in any other parts of their lives. Their experience of sports stands out from nearly all other activities, including socializing and schoolwork, in providing enjoyment where they are exerting concerted effort toward a goal” (Larson, Reed, and Sean Seepersad). People who play sports bond over a common interest. This opens up children to meeting new kids and socializing with many more. In Kindergarten, I played baseball. Even though I did not truly understand all the mechanics of the game, I met new friends and began to develop motor skills. This was very useful starting at an early age and pushed me to stay active throughout my life.
The main goals behind Sport Education are to help students become knowledgeable about different sports and activities to the point where they can participate in these outside of the classroom to stay active. Also it teaches execution and strategies and encourages competitiveness. It is important for kids to be competitive because they will have to be in life and it will teach the importance of winning and losing the right way. “Sports offer kids a great chance to work cooperatively toward a common goal. And working coope...

Some of my best childhood memories involve playing in a basketball game as a kid with my parents watching. The lessons and experiences I gained from playing sports are invaluable. I think it should be required to play a team sport while you are child in elementary school. The skills you will receive from playing a sport is unparalleled at that age. Team sports teaches kids people skills, and how to make friends. It also provides exercise that the kids need at a young age. Finally it shows that hard work will get rewarded.
