Rather than having to wait for a phone line to be open in order to call someone, you can make direct calls instantly to anyone else with a cell phone. This is more practical than before when you could eavesdrop on others calls, and wait your turn in order to just make a call. Facetiming is another bonus that comes with owning a smartphone. A facetime call is the same as calling someone normally, except you use the camera on your phone in order to have a face-to-face call. This makes calling someone more personal and realistic. Face timing is good for families with kids that cannot always be around their parents, this enables them to be able to at least see and speak with them. Facetiming is also practical for those with loved ones serving our country; it will make their time away not as harsh. Smartphones also have the ability to send group text messages, which will send the same message to whoever you choose and combine everyone into a single conversation. This is another benefit that normal cellphones do not have the ability to do. Being able to group text message is convenient and only takes seconds, it is much quicker than having to mail a letter that takes days you can do all of this instantly. Being able to use applications anytime and anywhere is a benefit in itself. With the thousands of applications that are on any smartphones market, you are sure to find one, if not several, to benefit you. Applications are not the only beneficial aspect of smartphones, with applications comes the ability to promote any business. Businesses have the ability to advertise through apps, which in turn can improve sales.
