Recommended: Importance of authoritative parenting

I believe it is good when parents are strict. Parents being strict to their children causes kids to be more likely to stay out of trouble. I learned this last January when something terrible could have happened to me. I was out of school because the snow and ice. My friend, Zach, had called. He wanted to go to the mall. Earlier that day some of my other friends were planning on going to the mall so i had initially wanted to go. I called my mother and of course with all the snow outside she said no. I get a phone call an hour later from De’ericka. She wanted to go to the mall. That phone call had persuaded me even more that i wanted to go to the mall. Thats is when I decided my mom saying no and being strict about going wasn’t going to stop
