INTRODUCTION What is classroom management? Classroom management is the most important aspect that the teachers have to manage on to make sure that the teaching and learning process run smoothly despite disruptive behaviour by students. Can we imagine how the teaching and learning process can run smoothly if the teacher cannot control the classroom well? According to Bellon, Bellon and Blank (1992), “the term ‘classroom management’ and ‘discipline’ are often used interchangeably’. To make sure that the lesson runs smoothly, the teachers have to create and maintain an orderly learning environment such as planning and preparation of materials, organizations, decoration of the classroom and certainly the establishment of routines and rules (Tan, Parsons, Hinson & Sardo-Brown, 2003).
Creating and Maintaining an efficient classroom environment for students can be a difficult task to accomplish. With the amount of distractions and behavioral issues teacher encounter on a daily basis, it becomes essential to prepare and try to prevent them. Our goal for students is for them to receive the most optimal opportunity for learning while spending minimal time disciplining and managing. In order to do so we must hold ourselves accountable as teachers for establishing order and also the students accountable for their own actions. If a good classroom environment is set up, I believe students can learn effectively without feeling restricted.
Introduction Managing a classroom is very important element of teaching. It can also be very difficult, especially when teachers must discipline students for unruly behavior. Many researchers have identified and employed many strategies that help teachers to manage their classrooms and discipline students with dignity and fairness to their students. While there are many strategies, it is vital that teachers choose one and employ it with consistency. Teachers must also consider the age group of their students and development level.

Content knowledge can be improved through further studies, but if the strategies used to relay that knowledge are subpar, teaching will still be ineffective. Teachers tend to try to blame their ineffective teaching on everything imaginable, from the students to lack of materials. It is ultimately the teachers responsibility to weave content knowledge and process knowledge together to ensure a successful classroom. The best teachers may not always have the strongest content knowledge but they do know their material, they also know a lot about the process. They have several instructional methods, strategies, and approaches—a collection they continually work on, just as they develop content knowledge.
We have to make the work that the children do challenging yet not to simple. We must push our children to reach for that little extra step in their cognitive thinking. The things that we say and do are easily absorbed by little ears that we do not think here us. Guiding our students through educational work is one aspect of being a teacher, however, the other half is helping them to build their character and understand good morals and values.
