Surprisingly enough, Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is the most-visited city of the world. The reason why it is able to attract so many tourists is that it is a city which is full of contrasts. It has something for everyone. From the hustle bustle of China town to the luxurious malls, from gourmet food in classy restaurants to local dishes at street stalls, from the serene Buddhist temples to the happening night life; this city has it all!

Start early so that you’re able to avoid the crowds. A walk around the premises gives you a fair idea about splendid lifestyle of the royals. The magnificent architecture is worth-seeing. After this you can go to see the famous Golden Buddha at the Wat Pho complex. There are various temples which are much like a maze so be careful to mark your way out. You can end the day with a visit to the Temple of the Dawn. While visiting the temples, make sure you wear clothes that cover your shoulders and legs. Tip – Don’t take breakfast at the Hotel. Visit the Khao San Road for some amazing street food and local shopping. A visit to the Floating Market is a thrilling experience with lots of treats that can fill your tummy. Next you can head to China Town for some mouth-watering seafood. You can also get some beautiful souvenirs here. Still got some time? Head to the upscale malls of Bangkok. MBK, Emporium and Central World are good options.

You must watch a Muay Thai fight. It is really a sight to watch the trained fighters punch each other. Spend some time at the lush green Lumpini Park. It is a relaxing experience watching people. Enjoy clubbing at the local clubs on Suk Soi 11.

Take some time to visit The National Museum and the Bangkok Corrections Museum. The latter one is a high security prison of 1939. The National Museum helps you to get an idea about the rich Thai culture. By now you might have got tired so go ahead and enjoy a rejuvenating body massage at one of the massage parlors of the city.
If you ever find yourself in Baltimore there are some things and places you must go and do. First of all there is Lexington Market which stretches over two blocks. This centuries old market has more than one hundred and fifty stalls and vendors offering fresh vegetables, seafood, meats, baked goods and prepared foods. You can find some of the best crab cakes known to man here, you haven't had a real crab cake until you taste one without all the bread filling. The sweet meat of blue crab is held together by egg, a tiny bit of bread crumbs an more crab meat. Camden Yards is also a must see. It is one of the most beautiful baseball stadiums in the world. After that I will inform you about customs, traditions and taboos in Thai culture. This is a very important part of culture and is what shows the differences between cultures. Then I briefly tell you about the government and some national symbols, such as the flag, the symbol, colors, anthem, dress, and national day. Next, I will explain about religion in Thailand. In most cultures there is religion, but in Thailand it is interwoven into its whole culture and it is hard to separate the two.
