The Dry Creek Station was created in the spring of 1860 by crew members. This station was the last one built on the Pony Express on Bolivar Roberts division. This station was built for the purpose of the Pony Express which delivered mail. William H. Russell, Alexander Majors, and William B. Waddell created the Pony Express because mail delivery by boat would take a substantial amount of time so they chose that delivering mail by horse would take a cut on time. During the building process they ran into some issues with Indians, and one day when a “heavy mail” carrier named William H. Streeper was headed westward and ran into two prospectors that asked if they could join him in the journey. They neared Dry Creek Station and saw that there were no Indians in sight, but when they got to the station they found the station keeper scalped and mutilated, this man’s name was Ralph Rosier. What had actually happened is that Indians came into the station and shot two men. One of the men shot was named Applegate, who was already suffering from being shot, one of the Indians gave him a bullet and they let him decide his fate. He chose to shoot himself in the head rather than try and shoot the Indian in front of him.
The Revolutionary War had many battles but none as short as the Battle of Fort Ticonderoga. In fact, the battle was over in less than twenty-four hours. Fort Ticonderoga was taken by American soldiers without a single shot fired. The weaponry seized from Fort Ticonderoga played a major role in strengthening the fire power of the American forces and helped save Boston from the British.
This battle took place in Manhattan and was commanded by Colonel Robert Mcgaw. The fort had 8,000 soldiers and held as much as 34 guns, 43 cannons, and important resources. On November 16, three British ships holding 3,000 men all together sailed up the Hudson and shot open fire at the fort. Finally, on November 18, the British successfully captured 3,000 of American soldiers and took all of the supplies/artillery. This was a very important battle for the British who gained tons of artillery and resources while holding a strong position in New York.

Bear also became interested in making bows. Bear first began making bows in his basement as a hobby, eventually expanding into commercial production in 1939 and experimenting with new materials like fiberglass to make bows.
There are 765 Wilderness areas in the United States, one of which being the John-Krebs Wilderness. The John-Krebs Wilderness is one of the smaller Wilderness areas with just below 40,000 acres, and it is located in California. This Wilderness was named after John Hans Krebs, a former congressman of California who was an activist in protecting land. The John-Krebs Wilderness contains a sweeping landscape of mountains, canyons, meadows, lakes, rushing rivers, giant Sequoia trees, and incredible diversity in vegetation. Throughout the low-elevated areas there are drought-resistant chaparral and a blue oak woodlands blanket. In the higher-elevated areas you can find mountain summits and alpine lakes, which are on the eastern boundary of the Wilderness.

The history of the land-grant colleges and how these colleges were established in the United States of America is very interesting. After I reviewed many historical resources, I found that the increase of population after the Civil War who needed education to improve their standard of living was a huge issue. It has had an impact on the modern land-grant university. The increase of population was a result of giving the slaves their freedom in some states. In my point of view, I believe that inequality between all the citizen was the most important issue in the history of Land-grant University. The purpose of this paper is to provide brief historical context about the equality of all citizens and explain how they got the same rights
The Natural History Museum is an extraordinary place to explore and learn. It’s fun and breathtaking! The museum served as an agricultural fairground from 1872 until 1910.
