INTRODUCTION
This research project was accomplished based on the information and data collected from Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) 2007. The main purpose of this research project is to discover and compare the high BMI risk among different marital status groups. For the past few years, the growth of obese and overweight individuals has become a huge crisis. Furthermore, the increase in BMI results in cardiovascular problems. According to a recent article, both married male and female have high BMI. There is a direct relationship and positive correlation existing between marital status and BMI. In general, married individuals especially those with kids, who are no longer concerned about attracting a mate and following healthy diets, are likely to have a higher BMI. At the same time divorced individuals tend to have lower BMI due to emotional and psychological problems that they face in society. Individuals, who live a single life tend to maintain slim and fit bodies in order to attract people’s attention hence they are more likely to have the lowest BMI. This research assignment will aid to find which marital status group is at great risk of having a higher BMI and take necessary steps to reduce the BMI.
HYPOTHESIS
Main intention from this research project is to prove that married individuals tend to have a higher BMI compared to those who are single or divorced. The response received from people will help to prove that married people have a risk of having a higher BMI.
BODY MASS INDEX

...533 compare to other groups. In general, 0.4533 is not highest or lowest value it is considered as medium value. By considering previous research made some statistician and overall evaluation from current case study we can conclude that married individuals have highest BMI risk. Divorced and single individuals have lowest BMI risk.
SELF EVALUATION
The case study doesn’t provide enough information regarding age of the population and has too many missing values. Each variable has too many outliers and the sample size is huge. Since pregnant women are not taken into an account for BMI calculation and there are so many respondents who didn’t respond to pregnancy questions, they would be considered outliers. If these outliers are removed from the case study, it will definitely affect and decrease mean, median, and mode. Distribution will be narrowed.
