Carl Jung noticed that throughout history stories had heroes in them. He talked about different types of archetypes. Mr. Jung applied many different archetypes in stories, by image, theme, character type and ideas. Also that they could be used in myths, religions, literature and dreams. My perspective, of a hero, is someone who is resourceful, caring, helpful and loving. Also someone who encourages and teaches. My hero is my aunt Delaney. Aunt Delaney has been a very caring person to many people. Delaney enjoys being with many different types of people. One example of her caring, is of her and a friend who has special needs and often doesn’t talk to many people. Delaney has made her feel exciteful and happy. In order to get good grades I have to try or use my time Productively. Delaney has been a great listener towards me and many people. She has been a good listener by letting me talk with her about my problems and a lot of different things. Also she has listened to her friend that has special needs and Delaney talks to her after she finishes talking with her. Also when someone has a bad day she will listen. It makes me feel good about myself when I am able to talk to someone about my good and bad days. Delaney encourages others by telling people such as me and my brother and sister. She helps me by telling me to succeed in life and expect for some bad and good things to happen. Also when I get good grades on my homework or tests she tells me to keep the good work up. I take that in consideration and listen because I know that I need to pass high school instead of staying in high school the rest of my life or dropping out like my parents had done. Delaney has always taught me to be considerate towards others and also not let others put me down.
