Fast-food restaurants are highly associated with low-cost and malnutrition foods with brief consumer and employee interaction, and below average cleanliness based on restaurant health inspection reports. Chick-fil-A has changed the usual perception of fast-food restaurants. Rather than burgers and potato fries, Chick-fil-A serves chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Chick-fil-A also shows their appreciation for employee to customer relations, rather than ignoring the social aspect of serving customers when operating at a fast pace. PepsiCo can potentially acquire California Pizza Kitchen and integrate it in the company’s decentralized management approach. Since PepsiCo executives have experience in the quick service food industry, it should not be a reach for the company to successfully run this casual dining restaurant. For this venture to be successful, it is imperative that management cut down the operating costs at California Pizza Kitchen through the PepsiCo Food Systems distribution network and improve on the 3.1% operating margin that California Pizza Kitchen is currently operating at.
When it comes to the digestion of a meat lovers pizza, there are many organ systems that work together to help with nutrient breakdown. For the lipid aspect of the pizza, once the pizza enters the mouth, little digestion occurs. The salivary glands release an enzyme called, lingual lipase which aides in the digestion of some triglycerides. The bolus of food then passes into the stomach where it is broken up, turning it into smaller droplets. It is then up to the gallbladder to release bile that further breaks down and emulsifies the droplets into smaller droplets. The pancreas then releases pancreatic lipase cholesterol esterase which digests the lipids and cholesterol consumed.

Olive garden is good restaurant, I remember it has been in years since I’ve been to Olive Garden. I know a lot of people love that restaurant and I do as well. But like every restaurant they do have their ups and downs. I remember the night I ate at Olive Garden with my mother and grandmother. I remember some of the waiters and waitresses did not have a kind attitude. They seem like they didn’t want work at their job. Which is understandable sometimes, but they took their rotten behavior at costumers and us as well. Even though I didn’t like their behavior I decided to go on with my night anyway. I order the spaghetti and I notice there was a long thin black hair in my noodles. We complain and one of the employees got and irritated look on his face but I got another plate anyway.
