Action Steps: A plan of action that can take place to help the residents of Atlanta and the Atlanta Project (TAP) can be done involving the recommendations mentioned above to change what happened into a better outcome. There are many individuals and place that would best to include in this action plan for the residents and the Atlanta Project. The residents of Atlanta, schools (colleges and universities), organizations, and President Barack Obama are all very important individuals who can and should take action on the issues that is attempting in destroying the people and their community. Even though poverty will affect the residents and community, it can also take a toll on academic institutions providing education to students. There many opportunities of assists from academic institutions in and/or near the Atlanta area that can address the issue of poverty, and offer the help they can provide for the areas near poverty. There can be different types of fundraisers that can be conducted by several organizations in its academic setting. The proceeds and resources that are obtained from the many colleges/universities in the state of Georgia can be distributed to the Atlanta Project, and/or other organizations who are advocates for the Atlanta urban areas. The contributions from the several academic institutions in the state of Georgia shows a sense of community that everyone needs to come together for a social action to fight for what is …show more content…

The former organizations that were with the Atlanta Project in helping the urban areas of Atlanta should come together as a benefit for the people and community, instead the difference between each other. The focus should be on the Atlanta communities, whereas differences should be put aside. An action plan against poverty, the Atlanta Project, former organizations, and welcoming new organizations can also conduct different types of fundraisers. Funding is an issue involving the Atlanta Project and organizations, and what can help to change that issue are fundraisers. Fundraisers are an advantage in helping with funding. Fundraisers can help them and the Atlanta communities get the resources that are needed. Donations are another way to help the Atlanta Project, organizations, the Atlanta residents and community. This can all be done as I mentioned through fundraisers and donations. The Atlanta Project and organizations can also address their concerns and the issue of poverty by making flyers to the public and making it known on social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and etc. Fundraisers and donations can also be put on social media only to help those in the Atlanta urban
