Looking back on my own stereotypes towards another group had happened when I was in grade school. A stereotype is a negative belief or image towards a certain social group. I have always thought Asian Americans had always strict parents and were born with mathematical skills. When I was in the third grade, there was an Asian American student name May, who always had the right answers. I never bullied May, because my parents didn’t raise me to be a bully, but I had witnessed my fellow classmates picked on May. I had a fear of going near an Asian American’s hold, because of experience in the fifth grade.
