Athena and Artemis were similar to each other, yet different. Artemis was the patroness of hunters. Artemis was also one of the three virgin goddesses. Athena was the goddess of war. She was also one of the three virgin goddesses. They both were powerful greek goddesses that represents strength. They play an important role in greek mythology as well. Artemis was the greek goddess of the hunt, forests and hills, the moon, and archery. She was no only known as the goddess of these subjects, but was the goddess of of wilderness, virginity and childbirth, and wild animals. Artemis protected young children, and was known was the bringer and reliever of diseases in women.
