Aristotle is one of the most famous philosophers around the world. He is Greek; he lived between 384 BC and 322 BC . He wrote in many aspects such as physics, metaphysics, logic, politics, government and ethics . While concerning politics and government, it is clear that Aristotle has some effective ideas to the state and the human society. On the other hand, Islam is one of the religious that take about how the society works and how to keep the state. They both talk about justice and equality between the members of the society. Recently, women claim for their rights as they can have what men in the same society have. By considering both Islam and Aristotle, the idea of equality in the society can be supported. I personally believe that Islam’s ideas are more suitable while applying it in the UAE society, since it is an Islamic one. However, I can agree with a part of Aristotle’s idea and reject the other part of it. Justice is the concept of moral rightness based on ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, fairness, or equity . In the Arab society and especially in the Gulf region women always want to have what men have. In elections and voting, working and occupations, they want to be as them. For example, The English Gulf news wrote about a female Saudi writer called Nadine Al Bdair who says that woman should be allowed to marry more than a man just like what Islam does to men, she urges scholars to look for this issue. On her article she said:"Traditionalists argue that Islam forbids women to marry more than one man at once to determine the fatherhood of the child in case the woman becomes pregnant. This argument has now collapsed because modern science can identify the father of any child through DNA testing” . Thi... ... middle of paper ... ... can apply harsh jobs like building and so on. Another issue will obscure women of having men’s jobs is pregnancy. Mothers need a rest after childbirth and even before it. Consequently, women will not always be available to fulfill their tasks, and it is not always possible to have alternative woman to fulfill the first’s place. In this essay, I have concentrated on the idea of justice according to the recent events, Aristotle and Islam. To sum up, first women nowadays want to be equal as men in all aspects such as social positions, works and occupation and duties to the society. While Aristotle thinks that each person has to accept his nature and there is no choice to them to change the way of living. Finally, Islam’s idea is that men and women complete each other in their society and without being two different couple they will not be able to keep their society.
