In summary, research on animals may be allowed in limits, but either way animals should not be a priority to be tested upon. Trauma Training was once only tested on animals, but recently, trauma stimulators have been found more efficient, being cheaper and more precise. Nonanimal methods should be prioritized over any other methods; not only is it more stressful to animals, but evidence has shown that medical research on animals does not prove true to humans. PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine) has developed materials that show an alternative to animal testing, and these techniques have proven more beneficial to humans than would animal testing.
