The light does not shine from this spot on the earth. The area around it, across from it, and far away from it, does not shine on this spot on the earth. It is unstable, unreliable, and unsafe to encounter this spot on the earth. Lead by a single person, fueled by nearly 25 million; this dark spot on the earth fills the world where light is not. This spot on the earth travels through media, the economy, and politics, affecting billions with darkness. Action against the darkness on this earth is a must; as it continues to grow stronger and spread wider. North Korea as a military would not be a problem because of the resources available and the development of the country. A growing close second; North Korea’s nuclear power. The Nuclear tests and threats can easily diminish China’s threat that holds the United States back from taking action. The nuclear program has recently conducted its fifth attempt at launching a nuclear weapon. Max Fisher, a New York Times reporter, explains that “North Korea's nuclear program, some analysts believe, is designed to halt an American invasion by first striking nearby United States military bases and South Korean ports, then by threatening a missile launch against the American mainland.” Nuclear weapons are a big concern when they are even mentioned by a different country. With North Korea’s test of nuclear weapons, the United States should raise that red flag and take action. North Korea’s boosting of nuclear weapons is an easy sign of rational irrationality by creating “the appearance of permanently imminent war, issuing flamboyant threats, staging provocations and, sometimes, deadly attacks” as Max Fisher states. The never-ending show of military power is just another way of North Korea hiding its lack in political power and it’s countries poverty stricken
