The US military has used drones in the war against terrorist for years now and the use of drones for domestic use has become a popular dispute. A lot of Americans consider flying drones over private property violates the fourth Amendment and the only time a drone should be used is if the drone operator has a warrant and probable cause. It is considered trespassing by some if a warrant is not obtained. In 2013, 43 states debated 96 different drone regulating bills but only 8 of them passed. Along with legislatures, the FAA has also had trouble regulating drone flight. The government has manipulated the rules of privacy for years. In two separate but similar court cases, the police department used aerial surveillance to get Intel on marijuana farms. The owners of the farms declared that the method was unconstitutional and took it to court. The courts ruled in favor of the government, in saying that the helicopters were above a certain height of 1000 feet and it was not invading their
Over the past decade breast cancer has become one of the most predominant diseases in the United States. Breast cancer starts out as a malignant tumor in the tissues of the breast which is formed from the uncontrolled growth of abnormal breast cells. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, but it can also appear in men. (Stephan, 2010)
Today in the United States, Breast Cancer occurs in about one in eight women which is currently the most common cancer among women. The number of cases is expected to decrease due to the advancements in technology and dedicated researchers. Scientists have put an estimated 4.8 billion dollars towards the research every year to help find a cure or a new treatment for breast cancer ("STAT Facts Breast Cancer"). Researchers have found causes, put in research and theories that help with understanding treatments, prevention and also common symptoms and coping mechanisms.
In her first term in office, she was successful in including provisions in major legislation to expand housing opportunities for low-income people and to assist small business owners and farmers. She is an active member of the Congressional Human Right
Evidence: Drones have many beneficial uses, including in search-and-rescue missions, scientific research, mapping, and more. But deployed without proper regulation, drones equipped with facial recognition software, infrared technology, and speakers capable of monitoring personal conversations would cause unprecedented invasions of our privacy rights. Interconnected drones could enable mass tracking of vehicles and people in wide areas. Tiny drones could go completely unnoticed while peering into the window of a home or place of worship.

...st has 3-4 fold risk of developing new cancer in the other breast this is different from a recurrence of first cancer. “Overall, white women are slightly more likely to develop breast cancer than African Americans women.” 5-10 percent of breast cancer is caused by inherited genetic mutations. “2-5 percent caused by inherited mutations in BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 genes”. High doses of radiation, such as treating the disease, in women under 30 shows the higher increased risk for breast cancer.(2) Having a risk factor, or even several, doesn’t mean that you will get the disease. If you are overweight the connection between that and breast cancer risk is complex about 25 percent. “You will need to exercise as little as 1.25 to 2.5 hours per week of walking reduced the breast cancer risk by 18 percent”.(2) High fat diets is a high risk that causes breast cancer 50 percent exact.
...n us that filibusters can be effective if you put up a great organized plan. As for Wendy Davis’s filibuster, I believe that it achieved a lot because not only was she able to gain national attention, but she was able to get support from the Democrats in the US Senate, 31 of them whom had signed a letter thanking her for the courage and determination for defeating a bill that would limit women’s rights in Texas. (Walker para 6) Whenever an issue on abortion happens again that’s if it happens again, the women and people from Texas who cared about such bill will remember Wendy Davis’s effort in her 13 hour long filibuster to stop a bill that would have restrictions on abortion and independent choices that these women could have. Davis even stated herself that even if the bill would eventually pass her filibuster still would raise awareness on the issue. (Welsh para 5)
In Massachusetts, determining the causes of breast cancer has been a top priority since 1990 when the Massachusetts Department of Public Health published a town-by-town cancer statistics for 1982-1990. The figures showed breast cancer incidence was significantly elevated in nine of the 15 towns that make up the Cape Cod region. What is significant? Research showed that breast cancer was about 20% higher on Cape Cod than in the rest of the state. In some of the towns - such as Dennis, Harwich, Chatham, Orleans and Falmouth - they are even higher.
In India, 144,937 women were newly detected with breast cancer and 70,218 women died of breast cancer in 2012. For every 2 women newly diagnosed with breast cancer, one lady is dying of it. Incidence of breast cancer has also increased from 25.9% in the year of 2008 to 27% in 2012.In the year 2012, there were about 2, 32,000 breast cancer cases reported in the US, whereas in India, 1,45,000 new cases were diagnosed. This implies that, though, because of India's population, the percentage of total women affected seems less, the breast cancer burden in India has almost reached about 2/3rds of that of the US and is steadily rising. For the years 2015, there will be an estimated 1, 55,000 new cases of breast cancer and about 76000 women in India are expected to die of the disease.
U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, chairman of a Senate Judiciary Committee said on March 21, 2013, that he is convinced that the domestic use of drones to conduct surveillance and collect other information will have a broad and significant impact on the everyday lives of millions of Americans. The first draft of the law is expected by 2015 and it is likely to suit the base for other countries in this matter.

There are over 650 fracking chemicals that can cause cancer. The EPA has approved all of these chemicals, but do not have health testing data to properly test the chemicals. Most of the time, the EPA does not ask for any tests in the first place. Because of this safety hazard, civilians living near fracking wells fear for their safety and health. Fracking can release chemicals into the air. Benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, and n-hexane all can be released into the atmosphere. Long-term exposure to these chemicals can lead to cancer, birth defects, blood disorders, and neurological
In 1977 Irene Pepperberg, a recent graduate of Harvard University, did something very bold. At a time when animals still were considered automatons, she set out to find what was on another creature’s mind by talking to it. She brought a one-year-old African gray parrot she named Alex into her lab to teach him to reproduce the sounds of the English language. “I thought if he learned to communicate, I could ask him questions about how he sees the world.”
