Why extraterrestrial rockets are perceived to be undeniably real, legitimate, things. Why Flying saucers are perceived to be not tangible, or legitimate things. Finally, why the media glamorizes UFOs. UFO’s will forever be a controversy because of media glamorization, and popularization of it. The summer of 1952 in the U.S. was a hot one. The National Airport in Washington D.C., there were many visual and radar sighting reports. However, it was blamed on temperature inversions of the air. (Shostak) In the Chicago O’Hare Airport, a UFO was spotted hovering over a landing strip. Many civilians and workers saw it. It was reported on the radio. It dipped out of the sky an the FAA denied it completely. (Kean 65) At 5:15 p.m. in Liége Belgium policemen were patrolling around and in a field there was a UAP. Shining so bright the men could read their newspaper in the car, the UAP was in that field. There was a triangular shaped unknown vehicle. It made no sound and numerous other people saw the same thing. (Kean 24) There were pictures of the UAP and people were trying to see if it was fake but there was no heat radiation given off, no one tampered with the pictures. Overexposing of the pictures, shows it was in fact a triangular craft.
