Never fall in love with a player. I am a prime living example of this and I want to give you my story as an example. This will also show you why sometimes calling love a ‘Happy Endings,’ can be a back track of the true meaning of love. “A deceitful man will go as far as to trample all over a woman’s reputation and spirit, in order to prove to his ex-love that he was faithful. The irony, is he is still in love with his ex and the new woman in his life doesn’t even realize it.” Shannon L. Alder You see two people holding hands. On the surface they look perfect together, happy and charming. So what do people assume? Yes, you got that right that is what people think. Nobody can see the girl’s tears, the man himself is not in love with the relationship. Both are doing what they are good at, pretending. Frank …show more content…
Trying to put it together one by one yet somehow you will always feel the unfilled piece. You will always stare at the mountain ahead with each step you take. Trying to pretend as if what you feel is nothing yet that nothing feels like something. One thing you will realize is that love is only for people who were meant to feel it. Sometimes just like a little child I lay down and wish upon a star hoping just maybe something wonderful will take me away from this life of misery when I open my eyes I realize I have been a fool.
True love. Is the kind of love I call fake love, pretentious love, hopeless love. I have seen relationships based on true love, then at the same time watch it fall apart. Seen a man who was once faithful to his woman and who treated his woman like a queen the later on in life watch him become a monster. True love as is it, is not true at all it is only meant to decorate and to cover the real meaning of love and its hidden concept. If you are lucky enough sometimes in your lifetime you witness true love in action, but like the rest of us we see the worst parts of
True love is the love that everyone fantasizes about. It is the love that is unconditional and everlasting. Love is very hard to define since everybody's concept of love is different. However, in order to achieve a good relationship, people must have a well balanced power structure in their relationship, and good understanding and communication between them. In the stories, "The Yellow Wallpaper,'; "Hills Like White Elephants,'; and "A Doll's House,'; one could see the lopsided relationship between the males and females. In these stories the males predominates the females, and the characters seem to lack understanding, and communication toward another, which causes problems in their relationships.
Thus they explained that true love was difficult to bear and comprehend, but in tru...
True love is when a person has a deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward one other person. Even through difficult obstacles or changes in life, the strong feeling between the two persons should remain constant and last eternally. However, the novel, Replay, by Ken Grimwood, creates characters that are confused on the meaning of true love. Throughout the novel, the characters are constantly falling in love with many different people and are having many short term marriages as well. The protagonist of Replay, Jeff Winston, who was originally married to Linda, claims to fall deeply in love with Judy and Pamela. Secondly, another main character, Pamela Philips was married twice before she falls in love with Jeff. Besides the novel, people in real life such as celebrities have numerous marriages too. In addition, it is proven that a married couple would tend to get a divorce as they spend more time together. All of these examples support the fact that true love does not exist. There is no such thing as true love, because a people keep switching partners and their relationships are short term.
Love can be many things; confusing, happy, and painful. Love isn't always straightforward; lust and love are usually mixed up. Its not always full of joy, it can hurt when love isn't returned like in William Shakespeare’s play Twelfth Night, he expresses that love can be painful because the characters in the play feel as if love is a curse put upon them. He does this through the use of imagery with the ocean being a metaphor of life, symbolism with the clothes and changing in gender, and dramatic irony with everyone falling in love with facades.
From the things written above one can see the different forms of that were taken from the book, the Hunchback of Notre Dame. It can be observed how much one can about love from the books we read. One can also learn the greatest form of love and how to express it. One has learned that it is impossible to love without showing it. Out of all the loves mentioned above, true love is the best and the only real love. If one truly loves he/she will find themselves having room to love even more. For one can never love too much. Love is something that one should do every day and continue to do for the rest of one’s life. One needs to do whatever it takes to keep on loving. For in the words of William Shakespeare "If music be the food of love, then play on."
When looking at the differences of how women and men think about love, a very different point is made. In Steve Harvey’s book Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man, he discusses a woman’s love for her man, “Nothing … can compare with a woman’s love”(19). “A woman’s love it is kind and compassionate, patient and nurturing, generou...
Love, that single feeling which generates the funny sensations in people's stomach, giving them the warm pleasures in their body, causing them to feel joy, and to believe every aspect in their life is right. It causes them to receive an exhilarating, appealing feeling that makes them want to rejoice. Love can be a speeding of their heart, but it can also be nerve-racking. It makes their hearts begin to rapidly pump, making a rapid beat— “ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom”. Attempting to describe love is a rigorous task, but it is possible. However, the easiest detail to describe and understand about love is not so much the feeling of it, but the concept of what it is about. Many people may obtain different views and definitions regarding love, but
...r love. When you love you are your most vulnerable to hurt. Sharing your love is the most risky thing you will ever do. It can either be the most rewarding effort or it can be the most devastating effort. If you invest yourself in someone, and give them your very best, and they respond positively to your love, you will experience great satisfaction. If, however, you invest in someone, and give them your very best, and they do not respond positively, or they do not respond at all, or they respond negatively, it is likely to be one of the most painful experiences of your life. People who have failed at love often vow to never loving again. To the person who has been hurt, love is perceived as the source of their great pain. Rejection is one aspect that nobody wants to live with.
When two people get married in the church they say their vows, like for better or worse, till death do us part and so on. Then two years later, they file for a divorce. Is it ideal for a couple to just jump into marriage without knowing what they are going to face and the responsibility that comes with marriage? They all claim love as the reason they decide to get married, but love is forever, and is their marriage forever? I think not. Divorce has caused children to get to know one of their parents out of the two which contributed into their being alive, it has caused a financial imbalance in the lives of the men or ex-husbands, and it is moving like a canker worm slowly growing, and taking everything on its path with it. It has caused
I left work today realizing just how fortunate I am to be on the track towards a successful career. And on top of that, the fact that I actually enjoy my job makes it even better! It's definitely been a long road.
“Love is universally accepted by many people and the concept of love within the English language refers to a variety of different approaches, states and attitudes, ranging from pleasure to interpersonal attraction.” (Kendrick 123) My characterization of love encourages the intimate emotion I partake for my family. The distinct connection that we fashioned and the invaluable moments that we consolidated. In the perceptive of a mother, my children are my supremacy and the greatest blessing of my lifecycle. They’re my inspiration and motivation to continue progressing and becoming the best at what I do. With that in mind, Love relics your outlooks and approaches the linkage they become associated with. Consequently, this condition can fluctuate over a period of a specific time. Additionally, depending on your situation, your perspective on love can be an altering affect, creating a stable or inconsistent assessment. Furthermore, causing your love to intensify, decline, or even cease. Love in its essence, stands justly powerful and the beauty of it advances,
There are many positive things and negative things about the movie and the story. In the movie
Love is hard and always will be. Feelings can get so caught up each day that it is hard to know which way is the right way to feel. It can be easy to get so used to what our mind is trying to tell us to do that we do not give our heart the chance to show us what actually to do. With all the criticism and opinions, we have no reason to carry our hearts on our sleeves when we know how we truly feel towards someone. Any feeling can be confusing, especially when something seems so right. Feelings begin to turn into thoughts that eventually become unexplainable.
I believe that happiness is the key to living a good and prosperous life. Through all of the sadness and hate in the world, happiness gives me hope. It gives not only me, but others hope and joy. Happiness gives us something to hold onto, therefore we cherish it as much as we can.
Over time the definition of love and what it is has been debated and argued over, but in most cases the answer is very similar. "True love is like two rivers that meet and merge, intertwining completely into one, then flowing on together. True love cannot be buried; but once unselfishly rooted it will grow forever." Quote on quote true love does exist but unfortunately is not found by all.
