Paying for college isn’t always a easy thing to save up for. As one of the political issues people are wondering if there should be tuition free public colleges and universities. Would it make our community to be smarter because everyone is able to access college for free? Or would it cause more problems to the government has to solve. A large amount of students are not able to go to college because their incomes from their jobs and parents jobs aren't enough to pay off for college. If there were to be tuition free colleges would the students be financially literate as they should be from learning how to manage their money from college or would have no effect on our community. Public colleges and universities should not be tuition free.

He is true because even if you were to get into a tuition free college then you would still have to pay for all the equipment like books and supplies. Over the past three decades college textbooks prices have increased incredibly fast. What the NACS (National Association of College Stores) says about college textbook prices is that a regular student will spend $655 and up just on those books. Supplies and books usually costing about $1,168 annually for a student. As a result college can’t be totally free unless the government would have to pay for all those materials or the university would have to supply them to all the students. Now if you think about the government paying for all the students supplies that would cost them a ton of money. One way they might get that money for the college student would be to raise taxes so they can get what they need to learn. No one wants to pay more taxes when a single candy bar at the grocery store costs a dollar! Taxes are already off the charts especially for citizens who are struggling
