Bill Cosby, was once known around the world as a role model to African American families, and loving father and husband of the Huxtable family, featuring on The Cosby Show. Cosby is now fighting hard to gain the positive reputation that he once had back.
After being in the limelight for approximately the past year or so for accusations of numerous counts of sexual assault charges, Bill Cosby may finally be able to see justice.
According to ABC News, “Cosby, 78, was arrested and charged in December with drugging and violating former Temple University athletic department employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia mansion in 2004. If convicted, Cosby could face up to 10 years in prison.” After being charged, Cosby was forced to turn over his passport, and his bail was set at $1 million. He was released from jail after posting 10% of the bail.

Cosby is also arguing that he is being wrongfully prosecuted, and the district attorney’s office just reopened the investigation based on “new evidence” that recently emerged.
The investigator says he saw a few “red flags” with Bill Cosby’s accuser, according to ABC News Philadelphia, “Former Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce L. Castor Jr. says he also found inconsistencies in former Temple University athletics employee Andrea Constand's story.”
According to Fox News, “Castor took the stand as part of a bid by Cosby's lawyers to get the case against the TV star thrown out because of what they say is a non-prosecution agreement from Castor.”
The current district attorney, Kevin Steele, says there is no record of an agreement of any
Procedural History: Miller filled for an appeal claiming that he was entrapped, and that the prosecutor committed misconduct.
(3 points) What kind of defenses has the defendant raised? Or, if the case is over, what defenses did the defendant raise? If not clear in the article, what are the likely defenses?
Wisps of burnt-out curtains drape over shattered window frames, fluttering helplessly like a bird with injured wings. Pieces of wood collapse snapping once they hit the ground. Smoke swirls around in the wind. No sound can be heard except for the occasional sobs escaping the chapped lips of people visiting what is left of their homes. The once busy city of Amsterdam is now nothing but a city of forgotten souls. In 1942, the Franks and the Van Daans moved into a warehouse located in Amsterdam to escape the perilous world outside, where the Holocaust was taking place. Jews like the Franks and the Van Daans had their rights taken away from them. The Gestapo, the police working for the Nazis, rounded up people to be sent to concentration camps, where people worked to death. Margot Frank was one of them. Many Jews had to leave the country to escape, while the two families, and later on a man named Dussel, lived on the top floor of the warehouse called the Secret Annex. Living in such a small space and having sparse food with so many people was not easy. On weekdays, not a noise was to be made otherwise the workmen below would hear them. Food and other items had to be brought in by Miep and Mr. Kraler, who risked their lives to help the members of the Secret Annex. To keep herself company, Anne Frank wrote in her diary almost every day. Later on, her diary was published, and two authors decided that they would write a play based on the published diary, named The Diary of Anne Frank. Goodrich and Hackett created memorable characters in their play. Among these people, Otto Frank stood out, who emerged as a good leader because he put himself before others, made rough decisions when problems rose, and stayed positive and optimistic even dur...

The Court of Appeals did not agree with the District Court’s reasoning that once the defendant provides proof the plaintiff must provide new evidence. Instead, the Court of Appeals explains the defendant did not prove the actions were nondiscriminatory once the rebuttal was noted as a front for the plaintiff’s termination (Cornell University Law School, 1993a). In summary, the defendant lost the case because they could not prove the motives were
“It has been a long legal battle but I was very happy when I heard that there has been not only a witness, but even the police investigators have given evidence to show that he is not guilty and he is innocent.”
There is also a lot of confusion of if Brendan Dassey is guilty or was just convinced to give a confession. He did file an appeal, but it was declined and they are still working on this case. His lawyers filed a federal habeas petition, but a judge has yet to rule on this and if things work out Dassey could end up getting out of jail.

A hero is someone who doesn’t give up and keeps on fighting for their goal. Jackie Robinson is a great hero and came over great challenges, but he achieved his goal. How Jackie Robinson embodies the human spirt is that he broke the color barrier, and the challenges he faced, and his life.
Elvis Presley changed the music world as they knew it back in the 50’s he came out with a wild new style unlike any other. Even to this day if you hear Elvis’ name you automatically think of his signature style or as the king of rock and roll. Hound Dog was controversial for it’s time and made extra controversial by Elvis’ moves and how the ladies would swoon and storm the stage to see him. Presley was so ahead of his time that most adults didn’t because of his so-called vulgar ways but the younger generation went crazy for Elvis and his new style of blues meets country hence creating rock and becoming the king.
He was arrested for aggravated assault, and charged with shooting two off duty police officers in Atlanta in 1993, but the charges were later dropped (bomp). He was also accused of beating a limousine driver in Los Angeles and found guilty of threatening a fellow rapper with a baseball bat in Michigan. He was then found guilty of sexual abuse in 1994 and was serving up to 4 12 years in prison (bomp).
Although Cosby has had a university education and received many honorary degrees, which few achieve, nonetheless, he is associated more as a successful entertainer than a scholarly educator. Interestingly, Cosby has self-described himself more of a class clown than an academician during schooling. Cosby started his entertainment career as a stand-up comedian doing performances across America during his younger years. Comedians have a notorious talent for stirring up crowds and encouraging clamor from the audience. They compose jokes that anyone can relate to and, thus, reach broad demographics during their performances. The talent has remained with Cosby to present and is manifested within the tone of his speeches as well.
It is so hard to become a rapper. But it is harder to become a Great Rapper. I believe Tupac is a great rapper. Not only a great rapper, but the greatest rapper. Like Snoop Dogg had said, “Tupac was many different things at once. Hardheaded and intellectual, courageous and afraid, revolutionary and….oh yeah, don’t get it f***ed up, gangsta.” To be a great rapper, you must have impact, commercial success, be good at song writing, a lot of performances and live shows and lastly, hella good rapping. The first song I heard from tupac was “ambitions az a ridah and all eyes on me” and it was real original so I went and listened to ‘Brenda got a baby’ which made me think “dammmmm he good, he good as hell”
Drug abuse has been a hot topic for our society due to how stimulants interfere with health, prosperity, and the lives of others in all nations. All drugs have the potential to be misapplied, whether obtained by prescription, over the counter, or illegally. Drug abuse is a despicable disease that affects many helpless people. Majority of those who are beset with this disease go untreated due to health insurance companies who neglect and discriminate this issue. As an outcome of missed opportunities of treatments, abusers become homeless, very ill, or even worst, death.
