In relation to the forever on going argument about the value of college, many people tend to argue for or against college and forget about the overall purpose of college itself. College holds importance to me because I believe it’s a giant stepping stone that can get you across the river into your future adult life with comfort. While people may be able to get around without a college education, it 's most likely that they end up stumbling across that river, and maybe even drowning without the stability of the college stepping stone. This college stepping stone leads to a comfortable life and an easier way to reach a desired point in life.
