Gun control is a topic that can cause numerous of discussions. There has been many thoughts about gun control getting more strict by the years that pass us by, and the laws are known to be getting stricter. Also to help stop the killing. Gun control is most likely to become more stricter every year because the death rates in the U.S. rise at a constant rate of people getting killed by firearms. Gun control laws were made to keep firearms out of the hands of those who are not able to control themselves. There are criminals that have received years of violent treatment within a prison.
Guns have caused millions of deaths in America. Many innocent lives have been taken over time. There is a saying, “Thou shall not kill.” Every man should stick to their word. Most of the weapons today are not purchased illegally. Most of the weapons that are being carried today have been stolen. There is known to be a lot of pointless killings in the United States. In 2003, there was approximately 73,505 non-fatal injuries due to that fact that firearms got into the wrong hands and the wrong time. In 2015, there were 13,386 people killed in the presence of firearms. In 2016, there were ninety-three people killed in only seventy-two hours. Gun law should be more strict so that the world can be a safer place. Most firearms are carried by federal officials in order to protect the public, but this can also be very dangerous if they get into the hands of the wrong
