Smartphone: Apple vs. Android
The feud between Apple and Android has been going on ever since the very first cellular phone hit the market. In the following paragraphs we will be talking about the feud between Apple and Android. There are many factors to decide which company a smart phone user would prefer over the other.
In 1976 Apple computer became company when Steven Wozniak and Steve Jobs launched the Apple 1. These men were considered outcast due to the fact that they both dropped out of college. As many people may know or have heard, Apple really started in a garage or basement. Which could be the reason apple was such a success because many people were intrigued by that idea.
Android on the other hand began when Google bought Android, so basically the opposite of Apple. In October 2003 Android Inc. was founded by Rich Miner, Nick Sears , Andy Rubin and Chris White , and in August of 2005 Google acquired Android. When android made its way into the first cellular phone on October 22nd 2008, when the T-Mobil G1 came out in the United States. Many features that are necessities in today’s life style are missing, for example multi touch capability, on-screen keyboard and paid apps!
Up until the nineties, Apple made some of the greatest personal laptops or computers on the market. However, they saw a big decrease in sale because their competition began to increase; at that point the company was struggling to figure out what to do differently to keep their company at the top of the charts. In the year 2001 was an extremely important year for apples sales as they introduced the very first iPod, which had competitors scrambling trying to create something like it to beat apples iPod, though no competitor could create one as ...

And Apple allows you to use cloud to store your photos and information such as: contacts, music, and app so that incase anything happens to your smartphone you’ll still have everything you need saved. Android doesn’t give this privilege to its users. But there is a function that allows android users to use two windows for multitasking.
All in all, Apple is the smartphone that seems to be prospering in the smartphone industry even though android has more users. And apple has more advanced applications that come with the phone automatically while android gives its users the privilege of personalizing their smartphone how they want. But in the end it’s the user’s opinion on which smartphone they prefer.
